IMAGE MANIPULATION

MAIN IMAGEThis is the main image I used for the magazine advert and the front cover of the digipak, in it’s original form, and the edited version. I didn’t edit it too much as I did want it to look natural, but I have done a few things to itin Adobe Photoshop to make it look more interesting and professional. I firstly turned the brightness down and the contrast up to make it look more defined. I turned up the saturation a little to give it more colour as the original was quite dull, but I didn’t want it to be too over the top. This is pretty much the same thing that I did for the other 2 images on my digipak:

This is another image I used for one of the pages in my digipak, which I also edited on Photoshop. I edited this one a bit more as I wanted a ‘fish-eye’ effect where the CD would go as I thought the circles would fit in. I looked up online for how to create this effect and found many tutorials. I watched a lot of these and found that I actually wanted the

‘inverse fish-eye’ as in my opinion it looks better. I went to filter, distort, spherize, and then I just I could play around with the amount to would be sphereized. I brought it ionto the minus numbers to give it the inverse effect. I then just adjusted the contrast and brightness, and I had my final image.
