Aide et Action‘Education for All’

aims at building capacities of youth of 18 to 25 years from marginalised sections of the society

for their enhanced employability and entrepreneurshipskills and developing their perspective for greater

commitment towards the larger society.

ContextIndia is experiencing high growth of more than 8 percent per annum leading to emergence of new sunrise sectors on the one hand and an expansion, revamping and restructuring of traditional industries on the other hand. This has led to the creation of a wide range of employment opportunities that demand skilled, semi-skilled and highly specialised services.

But is the country prepared to meet this challenge? Do we have the right kind of expertise and training to cater to this growing demand?

At Aide et Action, we strongly believe that there is a co-relation between livelihood and education. Livelihood contributes to the attainment of education and education complements qualitative livelihood opportunities.

Addressing existing gaps and anticipating future demand, Aide et Action has conceptualised a unique project called iLEAD (Institute for Livelihood Education and Development).

Demand-oriented courses designed to cater customised needs

Strategic tie-ups and collaborations established with business leaders for improvement and growth

“I strongly believe that my success story was scripted by iLEAD, where individual attention is given to each student. This provided an amicable environment for nurturing my personality. The teacher student relationship was another aspect which I believe played a key role in my learning process. I am now preparing for interviews with banks and railways.”

- Meena Kumari, Delhi

“Before my iLEAD experience, I was known as a dull person in my village and people believed that I would not succeed in life. But I had this passion to grow and achieve

something big, and see where I am today. I am heading a team of 20 persons in my organisation, and where I was earning a meagre amount of Rs 25 a day, I am now making a whopping Rs 800 per day. iLEAD has brought about a drastic change in my life,”
