performance acrossthe range

Caring for the youngest patients requires the bestand most innovative technology. But as we see it,newborn intensive care also requires somethingmore - emphasis on the NICU as a total environ-ment where infants can receive the therapies theyneed in a setting that is nurturing, yet designed forflexibility and efficiency.

Our CareArea Solution brings together the mostadvanced ventilation, monitoring and warming tech-nologies available to provide newborns with thehighest level of care. We then combine these tech-nologies with sophisticated information manage-ment systems to help caregivers make the vitaldecisions essential to a baby’s well being.

Our expertise in intelligent work-place designenhances the productivity of the NICU while alsomaking sure that it’s responsive to the needs of thefamily. The result? An all-encompassing solution forperinatal care that meets the highest standards.

Infant Intensive Care SystemIICS-90Capable of providing any configuration to meet the hospital and infants requirements.Available in fixed or variableheight.

Temperature Control:Our systems offer reliable excellence in thermal performance. Each Warmer in the Air-Shields®

products family provides focused heater output across the mattress to achieve uniform temperature distribution. Combined with a quartz heatingelement, our systems are optimized for fast, reliable heating on demand. The warming modulehead can be moved 65˚ in either direction to facili-tate other procedures such as x-ray, without interrupting thermal operation.

Intuitive Operation:The large, bright displays can be seen from a wide angle, and all controls are designed for logical, intuitive operation.

Variable Height Adjustment (VHA):The VHA option maximizes comfort for cliniciansor parents seated at bedside. At maximum height, the patient is positioned appropriately for ECMO procedures.

Variable Bassinet Tilt:All bassinets include a smooth operating mattresstilt.

Side Panels:An organizer panel at the rear of the bassinet supports efficient cable management. Each panel can be opened or removed for cleaning. Each panel is marked to optimize positioning of x-ray cassette.

Storage Options:A selection of storage options are available, including various configuration of shelves, anddrawer modules to suit your hospital’s needs.
