- Formed of 275 falls in interconnected up 75 meters. - The Falls form a giant arc nearly three kilometers wide onthe Brazilian side of the border with Argentina. - The average flow of the river is about 1,500 m³ per second, ranging from 500 m³/s in times of drought and 8,500 m³/s in times of flood. - The largest volume of water occurs between the months of October and March. - The largest in the world – cascade down their rock staircase, roaring with all their tropical intensity. An added attraction of the Brazilian side of the falls is the Iguassu National Park, which shelters an impressive variety of wildlife. Rainbows and rainforest: the perfect combination. Without doubt, one of Brazil’s top five sights.
