Message from IFMSA-Egypt Exchange family:
Dear IFMSA Friends,
It gives us the honor to invite you all to join us in one of our major exchange event in
IFMSA-Egypt; The National Weekend.
The Exchange week end is the gathering of all incoming students in Egypt in one big
social event .
This time, the 6th National Weekend is organized in Sinai, one of the most exotic places
all over Egypt, where you’ll enjoy snorkeling in the red sea, swimming alongside the
magnificent colored fish, safari in the desert and climbing Saint Catherine Mountain.
Within the pages of this proposal, you will find every piece of information necessary to
convene a successful event. The facilities, requirements, budget etc. All this will be
explained in concise, simple details.
There will be a Culture Show for each nationality ,where all students from each country
will get to know each other and prepare a show .
We recommend that each nationality (either alone or a group) to Prepare:
-A CD with the best national songs
-The Flag of their country.
-National Food.
-A dance show.
-A national song.
-A small souvenir representing your Country.

17th Aug We leave Ismailia in the evening at 6 pm heading to “Saint Catherine
Mountain”.
Monday
18th Aug Arriving at Saint Catherine at 1 am
Climbing the mountain

19th Aug Leaving Dahab Heading to Sharm at 9 am

Wednesday
20th Aug Gathering at 2 am for quads “buggies” safari in the desert, everyone will have
his/her own quad to drive to watch the sunrise there
Optional Trip: Aqua BluSharm Trip which is considered the biggest aqua park in
Sharm EL-Shiekh. (to view the video Follow the link here )
Free Day for Swimming, Snorkeling and Water Activities (e.g. Banana boat,
Parasailing, Water skiing, etc)
Naama Bay Night Life
Thursday
21st Aug Hotel Check out at 9 am
Yacht Trip from 9a.m till 5 pm; enjoy snorkeling, diving and watching the
beautiful coral reefs and gorgeous colored fish of the red sea.
Departure from Sharm at 9 pm to Ismailia
Friday
22nd Aug Arrive back home in Ismailia in Friday dawn
Total Fees: 120 EUR Fees Covering (5 days/4nights) all included
1 Night for Saint Catherine Mountain climbing tickets.
1 night at Dahab Hotel.
Snorkeling in Dahab
2 Nights/ 3 days in “Tropicana Rosetta” hotel located in Naama bay (All Inclusive).
Bedouin Dinner in the desert.
Quads “Beach buggies” Safari
Yacht trip in Sharm El Sheikh.
Transportation: From Cairo to St. Catherine , then to Dahab and then to Sharm and back to Cairo
The road is a 5 and half hour drive from Ismailia To St Catherine
From St. Catherine to Dahab : around 2 hours
From Dahab to Sharm el sheikh is around 90 minutes Driving
Transportation in air-conditioned buses.
