DealerProblem: A customers spa pump overheats!Heres a use case: a commercial customers spa pump overheats. The dealer knows about it before the customer and can dispatch services. Updates are provided from the field, with tech support clued in to the situation for advice and also to handle any customer questions knowledgeably. When its fixed, everyone is updated and the dealer can follow up with good news.19Carrier Subscription Management20Were also debuting carrier subscription management. This doesnt change the relationships you have with multiple carriers, you still work with your choice of providers in the various markets that they serve around the world. Based upon a study they conducted, they estimated they were losing over $1,000 dollars per year per machine. Each machine generates an average of $12 per day or $4,400 per year. The loss was based upon three key metrics. The first was based upon an estimate that collectors were pocketing 10% of the receipts on average, since the company had no consistent way to determine amount of cash in the system at the time of the pick-up. Additionally, it was difficult to optimize the timing and routes of the pick-ups. To optimize, the company would need to provide route optimization based upon machines that are 80% or more full. Machines that are less than 40% full, were picked-up at a loss due to the average cost of the pick-up. Lastly, the company didnt have a sound method to determine machine down-time. Usually down-time was only discovered when the collector would arrive; therefore many machines would go for days without generating any revenue Average 40 days per year.
