This course has been held each Wednesday evening for 2 years showing Mrs Skinner’s perseverance and determinaon to develop such a valuable skill. Well done. School Captain speeches Last Wednesday we held our Captains’ Speeches. We were treated to 11 outstanding candidates who all did an amazing job. They spoke arculately and passionately about being elected in 2019. Well done to all candidates. The results will be announced at our Presentaon Evening on Tuesday December 11. Intensive Swimming Intensive swimming has commenced. Please make sure that all swimming gear is packed for the next two weeks. High School visit The Year 6 students will be parcipang in a transion day to Woolgoolga High School on Tuesday December 4. More informaon is available in the note sent home with your child today. Filming Last week we had the film crew and Department of Educaon representaves at school to film our Live Life Well at School segment. Special thanks to all students and parents involved in the producon and to Miss Simcoe for coordinang the days. Although the weather wasn’t favourable at the start of Thursday we did manage to get through the schedule. Gold Morning tea Our Gold Morning tea will be held on December 6. Please make sure that all RSVPs are in as soon as possible. To support our Live Life Well at School ethos we are asking that candy canes not be given out at school. Please save this for the weekend and aſter school when catching up with friends. Congratulations to Mr Skinner who has successfully completed the Certificate 3 in Gumbaynggirr Language. This course has been held each Wednesday evening for 2 years showing Mrs Skinner’s perseverance and determination to develop such a valuable skill. Well done.

School Captain speeches Last Wednesday we held our Captains’ Speeches. We were treated to 11 outstanding candidates who all did an amazing job. They spoke articulately and passionately about being elected in 2019. Well done to all candidates. The results will be announced at our Presentation Evening on Tuesday December 11.

Intensive Swimming Intensive swimming has commenced. Please make sure that all swimming gear is packed for the next two weeks. Year 6 News... We are asking for a baby /toddler photo of each Year 6 student. This will be returned. Please make sure their name is on the back and best if placed in an envelope or plastic bag. Office News… COOKING FEES & WORKBOOK FEES:

Thank you to those families who have paid the subject and voluntary school contributions for 2018. At the start of the year all students were issued with a Soundwaves Spelling Book or, in Kindergarten, a Handwriting workbook, and all students have participated in cooking, and eaten what they have cooked once a term. If you have not paid these fees could you please do so by the end of the year so we can run these worthwhile programs again next year.

...Reading Resort News... Congratulations to all these Year 3 – 5 students who completed this year’s Premiers Reading Challenge on their own. Great work everyone!! Here they are celebrating their achievement with a party in the Library

Ocean Safety Awareness Day

AGM Corindi Red Rock Breakers Soccer Club

There are positions available to join the Corindi Red Rock Beakers Soccer club Committee. Come along to the AGM this Saturday Morning 24th November 2018 at 10:30am to Corindi Public at the top COLA to volunteer to be part of our community based Soccer club. It’s an amazing feeling to be a part of your/your child’s club, meet new people, have your say and have a great time.
