The state’s unemployment rate improved slightly, decreasing from 3.8 percent in November to 3.7 percent in December. The financial industry continued to experience the largest yearly growth for the state, increasing by 7.1 percent from December 2015 to December 2016, representing an addition of 2,400 jobs. The state’s unemployment rate improved slightly, decreasing from 3.8 percent in November to 3.7 percent in December.
