Take your cue from Patricia, Pauline and
Pammy on how to keep that
enviable sibling bond.

“I think the time we started getting along was when I moved away from home,” says Pauline. “Before then, it
was like we were just smothered with time together. Then, being
away made me realize that I missed my sisters.” When you lose
something, you appreciate it more, right?

Communication is key.
“You have to learn how to communicate with each other,” Patricia advises. “We’re not the type to have coffee together every day, but when we do, that’s when we really
talk.”

With busy schedules, it sometimes becomes a challenge to find time
to spend together. With these chic chicks,
though, it’s more about reminding each other that they’ll always be
there, no matter what. “We’re both not into grand gestures, so we occasionally surprise
each other with a cookie or a bracelet,” says
Patricia.

“Us three, we like listening to music, eating out, and watching videos – we all like doing those
together,” says Patricia.

“Patience is important,” says Patricia. “You just have to
understand each other” – yes, quirks and all. If you’re to agree on anything, you have to find a way to
meet in the middle.

It’ll strengthen your bond because you experience new things for the first time as a family. “My little
sister Pammy and I like going to bookstores to shop for new reads while Patricia and I like trying out
restaurants and cafés,” says Pauline.

With their occasional tiffs, they find a way to fix them the best way they
know how. “When we fight, we don’t have to apologize to each other. The
next day, we just start talking and joking around again,” says Patricia.

One of the best things about having a sister? You don’t just have an instant
buddy to spend the good times with, you also have someone to depend on when the bad times come. “There was a time when I needed Patricia to do things for me and she would,” says Pauline. “We
help each other out.”
