Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary post of Lower DivisionClerk on the prescribed format only (as per appendix 'A') at National Institute of AgriculturalEconomics and Policy Research, New Delhi as per details given below:

*AGE LIMIT:a) The age should be between 18 to 27 years as on closing date of application.b) The upper age limit will be 45 years for the employee of the Council for the above said post.c) The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidates.d) The crucial date for determining the age limit & qualifications will be closing date of

application.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and mere fulfilling higher qualificationsdo not entail a candidate to be called for written test/typing testlinterview. Where the numberof applications received in response to the advertisement are large and it will not beconvenient or possible for the Institute to call all those candidates for written test/typingtestlinterview, the Director, NIAP reserves the right to fix the criteria for calling thecandidates on the basis of qualification, experience etc. After screening the applications, thecandidates will be called for written test/ typing test.

2. Selected candidate will be under "Defined Contributory Pension Scheme" introduced byGovt. of India w.e.f. 1-1-2004 as per Central Govt. rules mutatis-mutandis as applicable toIndian Council of Agricultural Research employees and as amended from time to time.

3. Persons already in employment should route their application through proper channel.

4. No correspondence will be entertained from any candidates for selection! test/ appointment.Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualifications.

5. Candidates are advised to send self-attested copies of each certificate or any other

authentic document in support of their age along with mark-sheets and other castecertificates etc. with their applications.

6. Original Certificates and mark sheets should not be submitted along with the application butshould be brought as and when called for selection process.

7. One recent passport photograph duly self-attested should be affixed on the application andone copy of the same photograph may also be attached with application.

8. The applications should reach to the "Director, National Institute of AgriculturalEconomics and Policy Research, Dev Prakash Shastri Marg, Pusa, New Delhi - 110012"by post in the prescribed proforma strictly type-written within 30 days from the date ofpublication of the Advertisement in the Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar.

9. An applications fee of 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) (Non-refundable) in the formof Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Director, NIAP" payable at New Delhi may beenclosed with the application. No other means of payment will be accepted. However,applications fee is exempted to the candidates belonging to Female/PH.

1O. Applications which are incomplete or defective or with unsigned declarations or withoutattested copies of their certificates, proof of qualifications, age and their caste certificate,requisite fee (except for Female/PH candidates) and also not typewritten in prescribedproforma shall be summarily rejected. No representation or correspondence regarding suchrej ection shall be entertained under any circumstances.

11. The envelope containing the applications form should superscripted clearly with -"Application for the post of Lower Division Clerk"

12. The selected candidates will be posted at NIAP, New Delhi. However, appointee will beliable to serve in any institute of ICAR located anywhere in India.

13. Application received after due date for any reason including postal delay will be rejected.

14. The candidates must submit a declaration as to whether he/she is related to any employees ofthis Institute or any institute of ICARlNIAP and, if so, the name of the person and describethe nature of his/her relationship in relevant column in the application proforma.

15. No T.AlD.A will be paid for attending written test/typing test.

16. The dates on which and the places at which the examination will be held shall be fixed by theInstitute.

17. No candidate will be admitted to the examination unless he/she holds certificate of admissionfrom the Institute.

18. The Director, NIAP reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies,change any of the conditions, change the dates of tests and reject any or all applicationswithout assigning any reason thereof, whatsoever.

19. All the dispute/litigations, if any, will be subject to Delhi Jurisdiction only.
