At first I was afraid.I was petrified!Kept glancing at my syllabus.I kept it by my side.

Youre normal!!!] [Feeling overwhelmed & uncertain only lasts a week or two!]And, yes I spent a few long nightsthinking what I might do wrong.But not for long! I soon felt confident and strong!

[Remember:Youre not alone!]So dont freak out. You can relax!Your classmates are in the same boatAnd your professor has your backs!

[Read your syllabus often!]You should review your syllabus.Check the discussion board often.And you should read the directions over and over again!

Go on and type each week your posts!Plan to post early. If you get behind, then youll be toast!

[POST EARLY IN THE WEEK!]

[establish a schedule!]If you set a schedule and get in a routine then you wont crumble.And you might even start to sing

I know, yeah, II will survive!Oh, as long as I do my homework I can do well and even thrive!

Some Final ThoughtsAs soon as possible, obtain contact information from members of your small group & find out what their preferred method(s) of communicating are

Set Ground Rules with your small group members at the very beginning so none of the group members feel they are doing most of the work and others are slacking off

For each group assignment, select a different group member to serve as the Facilitator who will ensure everyone has a task, and everyone is submitting their portion on time

Also, rotate the various roles and responsibilities for group assignments so the same one or two members arent stuck spending hours doing the writing & editing each time while the others less than spend 30 minutes collecting the research data Last, but not least.Respond to every group members posts/emails/texts, and respond every time Frequent & respectful communication is crucial for your small group assignments to be successful

If you have questions, ask your group members and Dr. Chang! Dr. Chang is always quick to respond and offer assistance

Remember you are here to learn and earn your degree dont allow lazy, rude, or inconsiderate classmates to negatively impact your learning experience!

Treat others in the class the way you want to be treated as far as sarcasm & criticisms dont dish em out if you cant take it in return!
