EZcall iServer Wireless Duress & Locating System. EZcall iServer is a powerful wireless duress system that is capable of providing individual room-level location accuracy to alarm responders. Unlike traditional RTLS systems that can only display locations on a graphical floor plan or notify that an alarm is active in an approximate area, iServer’s unique triangulation algorithms are able to determine exactly which room an alarm event was triggered in. When iServer receives a wireless alarm, the system will inform responders of who activated the alarm and precisely where the event was activated. Scalable – A single system can comprise of only 3 location repeaters and can be easily expanded to over 255 repeaters with no additional hardware or software. Reduced installation costs iServer utilizes the latest in wireless mesh technology allowing a fully networked duress system to be installed with little or no cabling. Multi-floor locating – Many RTLS systems have difficulties in determining which floor an RF signal was received from. A properly tuned iServer installation will accurately differentiate where a wireless device was triggered, reducing response times. Enhanced security – All components of an iServer installation are fully supervised including; repeaters, controllers, wireless call devices and batteries too. Reliable operation – When you use the iServer, there is no guessing if a system component is operational or not. Maintenance alerts indicate all components that need repair or battery replacements. Budget conscious – Due to the reduced amount of system components and simplified cabling requirements, a networked iServer system can be installed for the same cost as a stand-alone wireless duress system with far less features & capabilities. Various Wireless Device Options. The EZcall iServer provides numerous wireless call options from; handheld, wrist or pendant-worn call buttons to fixed call stations & pull cord stations. iServer also includes various wireless alarm sensors such as water, temperature, smoke & heat detectors, motion sensors and door contacts that can be installed anywhere in the wireless mesh to provide additional security. Protect staff – Staff duress systems have many applications such as psychiatric wards and facilities where violent incidents may occur. Protect patients – Wireless emergency call implementations allow elderly care facilities to provide added security to their residents & patients. Protect property – Security alarm sensors strategically located in a facility can be used for theft and intrusion protection. Copyright 2009 QBsoft Solutions

• Scalable – A single system can comprise of only 3 location repeaters and can be easily expanded to over 255 repeaters with no additional hardware or software.

• Reduced installation costs – iServer utilizes the latest in wireless mesh technology allowing a fully networked duress system to be installed with little or no cabling.

• Multi-floor locating – Many RTLS systems have difficulties in determining which floor an RF signal was received from. A properly tuned iServer installation will accurately differentiate where a wireless device was triggered, reducing response times.

• Enhanced security – All components of an iServer installation are fully supervised including; repeaters, controllers, wireless call devices and batteries too.

• Reliable operation – When you use the iServer, there is no guessing if a system component is operational or not. Maintenance alerts indicate all components that need repair or battery replacements.

• Budget conscious – Due to the reduced amount of system components and simplified cabling requirements, a networked iServer system can be installed for the same cost as a stand-alone wireless duress system with far less features & capabilities.

• Protect staff – Staff duress systems have many applications such as psychiatric wards and facilities where violent incidents may occur.

• Protect patients – Wireless emergency call implementations allow elderly care facilities to provide added security to their residents & patients.

• Protect property – Security alarm sensors strategically located in a facility can be used for theft and intrusion protection.

Accurate Location Saves Time. The EZcall iServer provides far more accurate locating than traditional RF-based tracking systems. Stand-alone wireless systems can only determine location down to a rough approximate area with many overlapped areas. Networked systems provide more fine-tuned locating capabilities. Only iServer provides the ability of locating round coverage areas into a square room.

When security staff need to respond to wireless duress alarms, knowing the exact location to respond to is critical. Powerful control, one simple interface.

EZcall’s powerful interfaces also allow responders to receive alarms while remaining mobile. This saves precious seconds when responding to urgent calls.

• Text messaging alarm events are sent as text messages with the exact description of who initiated the alarm and accurate location of where they are located.

• Immediate reply – EZcall enhanced alarm messaging provides the ability for mobile devices to cancel or acknowledge events. Optionally a system can be setup to encourage responders to only cancel events at the point of origin thus ensuring immediate response.

• Active floor plan display – If you would like a more graphical display of alarms, EZcall can be sued to display alarms directly on floor plans of your facility. This option is ideal in facilities where security staff turnaround is high. Casual staff respond much faster when they can see a map of where an alarm is.

• Send a text message directly from mobile devices to summon additional assistance. This feature also helps to respond much faster to emergency situations.

• Alarm history allows managers and administrators to review history reports of alarm and response activity. Print an online report of call activity or staff response times without the need of installing complex reporting software.

• Call assignment – When EZcall dynamic assignments are used, the assignment window lets your staff assign which alarms to receive on their mobile devices. Staff sign in and out is simple when it is browser based.
