Burying Ground at Cerulean t 1 After along life of usefulness and months of patient ° waiting on the will of the Lord Mrs Martha Good ¬ win died last Friday night at the family residence on tfprth Main street > The deceased was the wife of Capt W S Goodwin One of our most highly respected citizens She was born June 3 1822 in 1848 was married to Capt Goodwin In 1872 she united with the Baptist at Cerulean on profession of faith in Christ Naturally of a gentle disposition kind to all about her and always ready to minister to the needs and demands of those less fortunate than herself she endeared herself to all with whom f she came in contactV During her declining years she never allowed her zeal for the good of those she loved to falter For months her physical strength waned but her mental powers remained firm Paralysis took hold of her and at about 8 oclock Friday night her spirit took its flight Besides her sorrowing husband six loving children all long since grown to manhood
