The fact is simple: the i20 Blue is a record-breaking car when it comes to efficiency. That's thanks to Blue Drive technologies like low rolling resistance tyres and Intelligent Stop and Go, which switches off the engine when coming to a halt and starts it again when you de–press the clutch. The brand new 1.1 CRDi* diesel engine sets a remarkable benchmark by delivering up to 88.3 mpg and emitting just 84g/km CO2. The existing engines have also been redesigned to become even more efficient, saving you money at the pumps.

The 1.2 petrol engine produces more power than its predecessor whilst improving economy and reducing CO2 emissions. The 1.4 CRDi 90PS engine on the Active model is equally impressive with emissions of just 96g/km. Depending on which of these engines you choose, your new i20 will come with either a 5 or 6–speed manual transmission, or 4–speed automatic. It all means that its efficiency doesn't come at the expense of performance. You'll want to drive the i20 further than ever - and now you can.

Safety is our number one priority. It's why our safety equipment is of the same high quality as all the clever features we've included. Front, front side and full length curtain airbags are spaced intelligently around the car for added protection.
