degree of operational flexibility; the automatic feature is parti- cularly important on applica- tions where frequent trips are liable to occur, such as on product transfer and unloading duties. Settings can be reviewed and adjusted during pumping, enabling changes to be carried out without system shutdown.

The KW941 Power MonitorTM is designed for single or three phase operation. The monitor is suitable for use with motors from 0.7 to 93 kW without a current transformer and up to 447 kW with a current trans- former.

Overload and underload protection

Hydraulically balanced - diaphragm pump

By continuous monitoring and visual display of power loading, the Durco Model KW941 Pump Power MonitorTM provides pumps with constant protection against operation in overload or underload conditions. Adjusta- ble high and low power settings enable alarms to be tripped and pumps shut down before da- mage occurs.

Designed for use in both new and existing pump installa- tions, the Model KW941 pro- tects against overload or underload due to factors such as dry running, cavitation, blocked suction or delivery lines, closed suction or dis- charge valves, excessive wear etc.

High and low alarm trip points are adjustable to close limits, allowing fine tuning for specific applications or operat- ing conditions. Trip delay timers, adjustable from 0 to 999 seconds, are incorporated to filter out nuisance trips due to temporary power fluctuations or short term operational faults.

Wanner Engineering has intro- duced the D35 series pump, a new design in its line of Hydra-

CellTM high pressure, dia- phragm pumps.

The D35 five diaphragm de- sign enables the pump to pro- duce higher flow and pressure capabilities in a compact size. The pump produces 37 gpm at pressures up to 1200 psi. This design allows the pump to provide steady, nearly pulse free, flow, which eliminates the need for pulsation dampening devices.

The sealless D35 can handle nearly all difficult to pump applications, such as slurries, recycled or dirty liquids, non- Newtonian fluids, ultra-pure li- quids, and a wide variety of corrosive fluids.

The D35 pumps use many common industrially proven components and are available in a wide variety of materials to meet demanding requirements and chemical compatibility pro- blems.
