Project Background
■ Current construction project began Spring 2015
■ New 24 MGD raw water intake on Lake Guntersville just upstream of Guntersville Dam
■ Approximately 3 miles of 42-inch DIP raw water main to plant
■ New 24 MGD conventional water treatment plant at the intersection of Highway 431 and TVA Guntersville Dam RD
■ Flocculation/Sedimentation/Dual Media Filtration/Granular Activated Carbon Filtration/Chlorination
■ Approximately 8 miles of 48-inch DIP finished water main from plant to existing distribution system
■ Expected construction completion Summer 2017
