For only $0.99, customers can experience all of the fun aspects included in the game, such as Career Choices, buying a home and gaining Life Tiles. Gamers can either play one on one with the program or multiplayer with friends. With cute graphics and elaborate touch screen controls, this app is definitely worth the cost! Hulu Plus- This app gives you unlimited access to hit movies and TV shows any time you want with a monthly fee. A subscription is needed to use this app. You can also watch TV shows that have been off the air and view old classics. It has over 16,000 episodes and also allows fast forward, rewind, turn on captions features and watch a show while scrolling through the menu. This app is available on game consoles, mobile devices, connected TVs, Blu-ray players and set-up boxes. DragonVale- DragonVale is an addicting game where you raise, feed and breed your very own dragons. The game is only available if you have Internet connection. For special occasions they release new dragons. For example, on Leap day they released the Leap Year dragon and for St Patrick’s Day they are releasing the Clover Dragon. This app is available for the iPad1/2, iPod Touch for the 3rd and 4th generations and also the iPhone. Tempe Run- Temple Run is a treasure hunting game full of adventure. The objective of the game is to race through an ancient temple and collect coins on the way. Swiping up, down, left or right makes your character jump, slide, or turn. Tilting your device will make your character run left or right to make it easier to collect the coins within your running lane. The game is played through a three dimensional view, where you are a temple robber and are being chased by the guard beasts. The game is currently only available on iPhone, iPad, and iPods. People seem to like them.,” Unter- reiner said. The Electric Flamingos have many songs out and some of the band members have their own personal fa- vorite songs. “I actually have a few favorites, one of which is called Girl,” junior Kyle Bloom said. “The reason I like it is because it’s so different than mainstream high school band music. It has such a sound to it that I don’t think of it as “rock” music, but more of a mod- ern style that there prob- ably isn’t a name for yet.” There are many support- ers of the band who enjoy attending concerts, snap- ping photos and assisting with music videos. “I love the atmosphere, honestly. How the band treats one another and how they react with others, whether it be fans or other bands playing at the same gig,” junior Mikaela Nix- on said. “The Flamingos are always welcoming and happy and have a joke wait- ing to be told at all time.” The Electric Flamingos have a concert coming up in March. “We have one at the Nile Underground on March 16 and were hoping to have one at NSA earlier in March,” Unterreiner said. “It was fun making them (music videos), and just hanging out with the people in the music videos,” junior Logan Trim said. Gale, her best friend, goes out of District 12 every day to hunt for food for their families. The previous victor from their District trains the tributes. Katniss and Peeta Mellarks lifes are in the hands of a drunk Haymitch Aber- nathy who cannot even keep down his own bodily fluids. This book is its own page-turner. You will be hanging on to every last word. Also this book really pulls you into its own setting. It is a romance, action and sci-fi book all in one. This book will throw you into an emotional roller coaster as Katniss battles her way through the arena. Hurry and read The Hunger Games because it is com- ing to theaters on March 23 of this year. Electric Flamingos make their way around McClintock campus

The Electric Flamingos are a student band on campus; members include junior Jacob Unterreiner, Kyle Bloom, and Logan Trim. “My brother’s nickname used to be Midnight Fla-mingo and he suggested that as a name, but we didn’t really like that,” Un-terreiner said. “When I told my sister that idea she mis-heard it as the Electric Fla-mingos, and it stuck.”
