If we are lucky enough to be involved in the design process, we "guide" architects to make sure every line in the plans has a purpose. We are now constructing our fourth Humphreys project--we've built both e-urbans and "big house"--and they have exceeded our expectations in every regard: their plans are thorough, give us plenty of key details and are responsive to RFI's. The biggest surprise however has been their willingness to entertain our suggestions on changes--we've never seen a more talented group. A typical big house building has 88 exterior corners, plenty of interior drywall accents and whole lot of windows--and I can tell you every owner we've worked for thinks they have ended up with an asset that far exceeds the value of more conventional design.”
