Every year about millions of hectare of crop land world wide are made unusable by erosion and million of hectare are converted to non agricultural uses. Most land degradation happens slowly as soil washes or blows away, salts accumulates and organic matter is lost.
SKANDA HUMIC STARS PREMIUM is a liquid organic nutrient extracted from lignite in the form of Potassium Humate. It is basically a water soluble Humic substance,

SAILENT FEATURES OF LIGNITE POTASSIUM HUMATE ( SALT OF HUMIC ACID )
• Today there is a recognized & increasing use of Humic acid stars for their beneficial impact
on the growth & cultivation of crops citrus, turfs flowers & particularly in organically
deficient soils. Humic stars is not a fertilizer as it does not directly provide nutrients to but
is a compliment to fertilizer benefits include.
• It physically modifies the structure of soil ,chemically change the fixation properties of the
soil & biologically stimulate the plant & activities of microorganisms.
• It is an organic & eco-friendly product & it is not a fertilizer or micro nutrient. The most
important feature is its ability of binding ions which produces produces biochemical
reactions known as Chelation. This makes the nutrients more readily available to the
plants.
• It acts as respiratory catalyst & chelator converts nutrient into forms available to
plants,protecting from chlorosis, increases the permeabilty of plant membranes &
decreases plant stress & increases the quality the quality of yields.
• It stimulates seed germination, viability & root growth especially vertically increases cell
division, respiration & growth.
• Regular use of potassium humate reduces the formation of toxic substances in
the soil, prevents the nitrate & pesticides mix in the ground water, reduces
the salination problem when water soluble minerals fertilizers are used is an
effective means of erosion control.
• Humic acids are generally regarded for their ability to promote the
development of good soil structure, throughthe binding properties,and their
excellent cation exchange properties which enhance retension of cationic
nutrients such as NH4 & K against leaching loses. It is also reported that it
retains anionic nutrients such as Phosphates via the formation of organo-
mettalic complexes. Prevents the loss of nutrients a & saves NPK fertilizers.
• It also has beneficial effect in reducing aluminium toxicity in plants by ion
exchange in an environment where high aluminium levels may poses problem.
• Humic acid have also as a chelating agent for trace elements such as & copper
in the manufacture of micronutrient fertilizers.
• It darkens the color of the soil, thus helps absorption of sun energy liberate
carbon dioxide from soil & enable better photosynthesis.
• Its applications to soil acts as a storehouse for retaining the nutrients
from fertilizer & release them slowly with better cation exchange capacity
& prevent soil leaching.
• It is fully soluble in water ideal for supplying along with nutrient through
fertigation. retain water soluble inorganic fertilizer in root zones &
promote the conversion of nutrient elements ( N P K FE Zn & other trace
elements ) into forms available & absorbable by plants.
• It increases the water holding capacity & along with nutrients through
fertigation. Prevents soil cracking & surface runoff 7 soil erosion & converts
the soil by decomposition.
• It thickens the cell walls in fruit & prolong the storing & shelf time.
Enhances plant’s natural resistance against disease & pests.
Method Of Applying HUMIC STARSSoil Application :
Dilute 25ml to 30ml of Humic star to 1 liter of water. Apply directly to the soil
(band or side
dress) with the aid of conventional ground sprayer or back pack sprayer.
Application rates
may vary depending on type of soil and results required. Over application can be
a benefit.
Foliar Application :
Recommended to use 1-1.5 liters per acre. Dilute 1 to 1.5 liters in 200 liters of
water .

Fertigation/Drip Irrigation :
Dilute 0.1 % of Humic star with water for Drip irrigation.
Root Application :Dilute 10-15 ml of Humic stars with 1 liter of water and apply

BEFORE PLANTATION
Take 20 litre of water in bucket & add 250 ml of SKANDA

Remove the polythene bag carefully and dip into the
bucket then plant the sapling
