Allotted applicants have to pay the balance amount in 60 days of date of issuance of letter without any interest. Alternatively, they have an option to pay the balance money in six annual installments at the rate of 9 percent interest.

The first installment is payable after the expiry of one year of date of issuance of the letter. The interest on the balance amounts counts from the date of offer of possession.
