social innovation in Geraldton Incubating
Innovation
Empowering People
Efficient Investment
Hub
Coaching
Market
Since then, the HUB idea
has been attracting lots of attention
FeaturesFlexible space for office, meetings, events
Inspired by ‘Coworking spaces’ / ‘Multi-tenant non-profit centres’ i.e. share space, resources
Flexible tenancy & payment: by hr, day, mth
Positive filter on the organisations who can work there i.e. ethical, creative
Meeting place for people, network, support, tools and inspiration
Sound business model – not ‘dependent’ charity
BenefitsTHE PLACE for support, inspiration,
collaboration
Increased visibility and findability
Lower overhead costs
Flexible, creative space for productive, enjoyable meetings
Focus on the projects, people and impact, not the government agency delivering support
Home for the ‘future’ that is emerging – ‘build it and they will come’
To give everyone more of an ideas of what it looks like
and feels like…here are examples from around the world
‘The Hub’
an international of spaces sharing the same structure, systems, branding and ethos
We set out to create places that borrow from the best of a member's club, an innovation agency, a serviced office and a think-tank to create a very different kind of innovation environment. Places with all the tools and trimmings needed to grow and develop new ventures. Places to access experience, knowledge, finance and markets. And above all, places for experience and encounter, full of diverse people doing amazing things

Co-located with ‘Tech Shop’ – a membership-based workshop that provides members with access to tools and equipment, instruction, and a community of creative and supportive people so they can build the things they have always wanted to make.
‘Green Spaces’
Denver-based co-working space explicitly only for eco-
entrepreneurs (which includes certified ‘green’ real estate
agents!)http://greenspacescolorado.com/
Testimonial
"But what Green Spaces really offers is community. And that may be the most important piece of the green start-up puzzle. Because when your work space is connected to other work spaces in which like-minded souls are engaged in comparable endeavors and facing similar obstacles, you don't have to go it alone. You can share resources and ideas. You can network and connect. You can do a whole lot of very excellent things you might not do alone, and this can mean the difference between success and failure."

http://socialinnovation.ca/
The Centre for Social Innovation is a dynamic space in downtown Toronto, Canada. Our mission is to spark and support new ideas that are tackling the social, environmental, economic and cultural challenges we face today. We’re creating the spaces that social innovation needs to thrive and we’re contributing a few of our own ideas along the way!
The Deal…
• Private Desk – so you can store stuff
• Hot Desk – so you can only pay for what you use
• Private Office Space - for organisations with 1-5 staff
• Book the Space – for meetings
Learn……Eat…
..and Work, of course
Leveraging their members, they co-invested enough to buy a whole building……Meet…
‘The Network Hub’
The Network Hub located in downtown Vancouver Canada offers various options
to meet different working styles from coworking, private office, hotdesking, meeting room rental and virtual office. Our goal is to provide a calm inspiring work space where entrepreneurs can
