HPL won SAP ACE Award 2010 for Best Run Business in Procurement

Another feather in the Cap for HPL and Good News for every member of HPL family. HPL has won the

SAP ACE Award 2010 for Best Run Business Process in Procurement.

SAP ACE (Awards for Customer Excellence) is SAP benchmark to recognize businesses that have achieved

excellence and business value creation through innovative use of IT for enterprises.

Over 200 nominations were filed for the awards from across India. 20 companies were short listed for

the SAP ACE award 2010. This award is coveted customer-focused Information Technology awards.

Winners for SAP ACE awards were selected through the systematic evaluation comprising of a three-

stage process that includes:

1. Performance benchmarking,

2. Customer / Users interview and

3. Jury discussion.

SAP India and Mr. Jimmy Anidjar, President, Global Fast Growth and Emerging Markets, SAP AG, in

Mumbai on October 21, 2010.

compliances. It eliminated duplication of Jobs and

provides better control and efficiency improvement of

procurement process.

This was a group effort where HPL’s Management Audit,

Procurement Team and Mr. Rakesh Agrawal identified

areas of improvement in the Business Process and

implemented the same on SAP.
