How to Install the App in your Smart Phone ?



Introduction to HP SECAP Android Application

• What is HP SECAP Android App?

HP SECAP Android App is an data reporting solution which is been specially developed for the HP Registered partners who can report there Daily transactions on the HP Products*

• Which Device the mobile app Support?

You can install HP SECAP App in any of your Android Smartphones which has got a Auto focus camera.

• How it Works?

HP SECAP Android App will allow you to capture the Serial number (barcode) with the help of camera and allows you to enter the customer details and Submit the data

* You can submit the data by using any of the modes provided SMS or Internet


Installation Process


For detailed installation process Please refer the page no. 07 -13.


Before Installing the app, you have to enable the option called unknown resources (Allow Installation of apps from sources other than Google Play store)

Click On Settings

SECAP Application Installation


Go to More

&

Click on Security


Transfer the SECAP.apk file into you Smart phone on click to Install


Select the Package Installer


Click on Install

How to use the app ?



Locate & click on the SECAP App from your home screen

SECAP Android App Usage


Test your mobile compatibility by scanning the Barcode.


For the first time the user has to create a profile by filling all the provided fields & has to select in which mode he prefer to send the data

FAQ’s :1. What is the cost for each transaction in SMS mode?

For each transaction it will cost 3 rupees per SMS

2. How to track the Serial numbers Submitted only in SMS mode?

There is an option in the portal called Serial tracking, where you can select the status as SMS and get all the serial numbers which is reported via SMS mode.

3. Will I get any acknowledgement message after submitting the data in SMS Mode?

Yes , after each transaction you will be receiving the acknowledgement with the total no. of submitted serial numbers and the exact status on :

• How many got Passed• How many got Failed• How many are under verification
