Return to your PC to set up faxing. TheFax Setup Wizard is the easiest way toenter the required header information foryour fax. Follow the onscreen instructionsto enter your name, phone number andother important settings.

Note: We strongly recommend that you usethe Fax Setup Wizard. If you wish, you canuse the front panel to set up your fax. Followthe instructions in the Basic Guide.

b The Congratulations screen appears.Click “View Tour” to see all the features ofyour new HP OfficeJet.

Make sure paper isloaded in yourHP OfficeJet.

The message “PressEnter to aligncartridges” appears inthe display. Press theEnter button (on yourHP OfficeJet) tobegin alignment. Aftera page prints, thealignment iscomplete.

Open the door. The print-cartridge carriage moves tothe access area.

Lower the right print-cartridgelatch down onto the top of thecartridge, and push down firmlyuntil the latch locks into place.

Remove the black print cartridge (thinner one)from its packaging and, being careful to touchonly the black plastic, gently remove both thegreen pull tab and the blue tape covering thenozzles.

Push the black print cartridge firmlydown into the slot on the right. As youinsert the cartridge, make sure thelabel is facing you.

CAUTION:Do not touchor removethe gold-coloredcontacts.

db c eWait at least 10 seconds forthe print carriage to stopmoving. Raise both latcheson the print carriage.

Remove the color print cartridge (widerone) from its packaging and, being carefulto touch only the black plastic, gentlyremove both the green pull tab and theblue tape covering the nozzles.

Push the color print cartridge firmly downinto the slot on the left. Lower the left print-cartridge latch down onto the top of thecartridge, and push down firmly until thelatch locks into place.

CAUTION:Do not touchor removethe gold-coloredcontacts.
