A graded certificate will be issued for students who scored C6 & above.

– To groom and prepare students for the Humanities subjects with special reference to the Humanities Programme at college level.
• To meet manpower planning needs of Singapore through grooming scholarship students for local and top overseas university studies under government‐overseas scholarships.
– To develop outstanding Hwa Chong students’ communication skills, written competency, critical faculties and research techniques, aimed at fostering leadership potential.
– To provide for the meaningful integration and enrichment of the learning process, leading to greater appreciation and enjoyment of the Humanities.
