Election Tuesday, Polling Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. How to Vote Using An AccuVote-TSX Marking a Regular Ballot and Casting Your Vote Insert voter access card into the slot in the upper right side of the screen. The voter access card should face up with arrow pointing left. Push card in until it firmly clicks. Before you begin the voting process, you can magnify or change the contrast of your ballot to help increase readability. To begin voting, touch the “Next” button on the screen. You will use the “Next” button to see each ballot page until you have reached the end of the ballot. To select candidates or issues: a. Touch the box on the screen next to your choice. An “X” will appear designating your selection. b. To change or cancel your selection, touch the box again and make another selection. To select an eligible write-in candidate: a. To vote for an eligible write-in candidate, select “Write-in” and a keyboard will appear on the screen. b. Type the name of the write-in candidate, then select “Record Write-in.” c. The normal voting screen will return and the name you entered will appear as the choice for that particular office. Touch “Back” to review previous pages. Once you have made all of your selections, you may review your choices on the Summary Page. Items in red are offices or issues that were not voted. If you want to vote for that office or issue or change your vote for any selection, just touch the desired office or issue and you will be taken back to the proper page to cast or change your vote. To verify your selections, touch “Print Ballot.” You will see an enclosed printed copy of your choices to the right of your machine. After reviewing your ballot printout, you can either cast or reject your ballot. You may reject your ballot a maximum of two times, after which you will no longer be allowed to make changes. When you are ready to record your vote, touch “Cast Ballot”. Once your ballot is cast, the paper printout of your ballot will scroll upward so none of your activity will be visible to the next voter. Once you have completed the electronic touch screen voting process, remove your voter access card and return it to an election official. How to Vote Using An AccuVote-TSX

Marking a Regular Ballot and Casting Your Vote

Insert voter access card into the slot in the upper right side of the screen. The voter accesscard should face up with arrow pointing left. Push card in until it firmly clicks.

Before you begin the voting process, you can magnify or change the contrast of your ballotto help increase readability.

To begin voting, touch the “Next” button on the screen. You will use the “Next” button tosee each ballot page until you have reached the end of the ballot.
