HOW TO SPOT A FAKE PRADA BAG…Find out what key factors to look for when asking the question, “Is it authentic?”

There are checks that you can look at to differentiate a real from a fake.

We took an authentic Prada bag to show you what to look for to indicate authenticity.

Check 1: Hardware• Prada marks their hardware with their logo. • Check the zipper: Does it zip without running

into any kinks? If your zipper runs smoothly, that’s a good sign.

• Does the hardware feel high quality? YES!

Check 2: Stitching• Make sure that the stitching is

straight, not falling apart, and is tightly stitched.

Prada bags are hand-stitched, you know?

Check 3: Quality Materials• Prada doesn’t use low quality leathers, or

materials. • Check, and double check Number 3.

Look at the exterior material, interior material, and hardware – all the way down to the seal of the edges.

Check 4: Logo• Take a close look at the logo. Make sure that the

font is right.• Also make sure that the logo is secure. It

shouldn’t be falling off, chipping, or just stuck on a bag.

***Also take note that Prada’s logo depends on the time it was made.

Check 5: Interior • Prada doesn’t slack on their

interior.• Make sure the interior lining

isn’t low quality.• There will always be the Prada

trademark on the interior – typically under a pocket (if the bag has an interior pocket, of course).

Everything Checks Out…

If everything checks out, you should be good to go; however, if you’re still unsure,

you can always check with the nearest Prada store (also authorized Prada seller).
