How to Maintain a Strong BBB RatingGlobal Client Solutions
Introduction• Offering a debt management platform that allows consumers to
control their finances and assists them in settling debt, Global Client Solutions was established in 2003. Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Global Client Solutions maintains an A+ Rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
Businesses can achieve a similarly high rating by:
1. Registering with the BBB. The BBB does not search out business on its own accord. Instead, businesses must apply to the organization. Businesses must be in operation for a minimum of one year.
2. Meeting the Criteria. The BBB maintains a list of 13 criteria on which it bases its ratings.
BBB Rating• These include, but are not limited to, complaint volume,
lack of complaint resolution, type of business, and competency licensing. Businesses must adhere to all 13 to achieve a high rating. A general rule is to maintain relevant regulatory documents and ensure all business practices are honest.
3. Proactively Handling Complaints. Should a business receive a complaint through the BBB, a timely response is critical. A business does not always have to accept liability in cases of complaint, but it must at the very least contact the BBB to explain its view on the issue. Failing to respond to any BBB complaint will negatively affect a business’ rating.
