Deductions Details

After logging in, click on the appropriate ‘Financial Year’ to start preparing your return.

Select appropriate category

Click on appropriate category and then click ‘Next’ button.

Personal details

Enter personal details in this screen and then click Next button.

Contact details

Enter Contact Details in this screen and then click Next button.

Source of income details

After entering the details of all the sources of income such as salary, hours property,

interests, dividends, gifts etc. the summary of income details will be displayed.

Adding Deductions

Now, let’s see how we can add deductions details. Click on ‘Go To

Deductions’

You will be directed to this screen. Click on ‘Add More

Deduction’.

Add source of deduction

In the listed deductions list, choose the appropriate ones and select ‘Yes’

and then click ‘Next’ button.

Source of deduction needs to be entered in this screen.

Provision to add all the deductions details will be displayed in this screen. By clicking on ‘Add’, you can enter the details of the respective deductions.

For example, Add physical Disability to enter the details of respective deduction.

Medical Insurance Premium – Section 80D

Enter the Medical Insurance Premium available under ‘Section

80D’ details in this screen.

Medical Expenses - Sec 80DDB and Sec 80DD

Enter the Medical Expenses details available under ‘Section 80DDB

and Section 80DD’ details in this screen.

Tax Saving Investment - Sec 80C, Sec 80CCC, Sec 80CCF and Sec 80CCG

Enter the details of Tax Saving Investment like Provident, Insurance

Plans, Tax Savings Bond, Bank and postal schemes, mutual funds,

RGESS (Sec 80C, Sec 80CCC, Sec 80CCF and Sec 80CCG) in this screen.

Education Expenses – Section 80E

Enter the education expenses details in this screen .

Interest on home loan – Section 80EE

Enter the details of interest of home loan available under section 80EE.

Donations and Contributions – 80G, 80GGA and 80GGC

Rent Expenditure - 10(13)A

Physical Disability – 80DD

Summary of deductions

All the summary of deductions will be displayed here

After entering the tax credits and reviewing your return, you can efile

your return.
