What is a variation group

▪ Variation Group is the family of product attributes combined together in

one place

▪ For example ‘T-shirt’ group which should contain variations like color and

size. These are some of the common variations of T-shirts like in Men T-

shirts, Sports T-shirts etc

▪ So when you add ‘Polo T-shirt’ as a new product, you just need to add the

‘T-shirt’ group instead of individual variations



▪ Add various variations to your new product ‘Polo T-shirt’ in one go with

the help of ‘T-shirt’ group

Without variation group, add each variation individually

With variation group, add all the variations in one go

▪ It enables you to assign multiple variations to a product with a single click

▪ It will minimize your product creation time by allotting one group to

multiple variations


How to create a new variation group

Step 1:

▪ Log in to your eshopbox site admin panel with your Eshopbox login id and

password

▪ Click on ‘Manage’ tab and select ‘Product Variations’ optionManage tab

Step 2:

▪ It will direct you to 'Manage your variations’ page

▪ Click on ‘Create a new group’ link placed in the right panel to fill the new

group info

Step 3:

▪ Now you are on ‘Search and Select’ page where you need to fill

information related to new variation group

▪ It includes two field group name and group variations

Step 3.1:

▪ Enter the group name which should give clue about the type of products it

should be associated with

▪ It should be specific and short

▪ Click on the variations from the variation list so that it will get associate in

one group

▪ For example for ‘T-shirt’ group, select variations which are common in

most of the ‘T-shirts’ like color and size

▪ Selected variations will get display in the ‘Selected variations’ textbox

Step 4:

▪ Click on ‘Save’ button to save the filled information

▪ Click on ‘Save & Exit’ to save the filled information and exit from the

process after completion

▪ Click on ‘ ’ to exist from the process without saving filled information

▪ You can anytime add or remove variations to this group by selecting an

edit from manage your variations page

▪ Add variations in a group which should be similar to many products
