How to Add a Coupon
My Coupins – How to Add a Coupon
The first step to adding a coupon is to move your mouse over the “Add” dropdown menu at the top right of the home page and click on “Pin”
My Coupins – How to Add a Coupon
There are 3 ways to add a coupon to My Coupins;1. Upload an image/coupon
from your computer2. Type in the url of the
coupon image or the web page where the coupon exists.
3. Use the My Coupins coupon clipper from your web browser.

To upload a coupon/image from your computer, click the “Choose File” Button.
This will open a window from your computer where your images are saved.
Double click on the coupon you want to pin on your Board

Your coupon will appear in the coupon staging area where you can add more information such as;• A description – You can add
things like the company name, expiration date, address, phone #, etc.
• Tags – This is where you add words to make your coupon more searchable like; oil change, Minneapolis, Valvoline, etc.
• Price – This is a feature that rarely gets used on My Coupins.
• Link - A link to the website of the web page where the coupon lives or a link to the home page of the company offering the coupon.
• Category – This refers to the categories of the boards you have created. Notice “Oil Change Coupons” is already showing because we already created this board in our profile.
• You can also create a new board/category in your profile by clicking on the “Add New Board” button.
• “Pin It” – Click this when you are ready to post your coupon to the website

After you click the “Pin It” button at the bottom of your coupon, you will see your completed coupon/pin. This page is only visible to you.
From this page you can see that it was pinned to your “Oil Change Coupons” board.
Click on the “See This Pin” button to see the page you created for this coupon.
From this page you can also; • “Add Another Pin” – Click here if
you have another coupon you want to post to one of your boards.
• Share it on Social Media – From here, you can like your coupon on Facebook, Tweet it on your Twitter account or share it on Google+
My Coupins – How to Add a Coupon
This is how your coupon page looks to the public. From this page anyone can also; • “Pin it” to their
Pinterest account• “Embed” the coupon
on another website or blog
• “Email” it to a friend• “Report” it if there
are errors on it or it is spam
• “Post a comment” about the coupon or the establishment offering the coupon
Users can also see who pinned it and when it was pinned and “Repin” it to one of their own boards.
The “Edit” buttons are only visible to you because its your coupon and you are logged in to your account.
