Overview Through the DipFA ® Intensive Fast Track training programme you will achieve a professional qualification from The London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF). DipFA ® is a prestigious, benchmark qualification that meets the standards required for those giving professional advice on retail investment products. It is recognised by the industry’s regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As well as achieving these qualifications, you’ll also gain vital skills to help you in your career. Business skills and ethics studies will help you to ensure you’re always working for your clients’ best interests, and adviser skills will help you to build a rapport with your clients. As part of attending this fast track programme, you will be required to attend our 18 month Building the Best Adviser course. How is the training delivered? The DipFA ® Intensive Fast Track programme is a three month full-time programme. Weekly tutor-led virtual classrooms by video conference lasting 2.5 hours (during work hours). All classroom sessions are recorded, so they can be accessed in self-study time. You will also benefit from question tools and access to additional learning materials. Face-to-face structured training days covering exam preparation. The face-to-face tutorials will take place at off site locations and require an overnight stay. The location depends on where the majority of students are based. Once your place is secured you will be given pre-course reading ahead of the induction date. What support is available? Access to the Learning Management System where all virtual classroom recordings are stored, as well as regular quizzes to test your knowledge. Support of a dedicated trainer who walks you through the programme and is on- hand to support you through the duration of the course. Cost The maximum total cost for the DipFA® programme is £9,000. For those selected for our Intensive Fast Track programme all tuition fees, overnight accommodation, and travel expenses will be paid for. * * Providing you have secured a place within a QFP firm and become a restricted financial adviser for a minimum two-year period. Online tests We will ask you to complete two online tests, one numerical and one verbal. Each test will take around 20 minutes to complete. We will email you the test details and ask that you complete them within a certain time period of receiving the email. We will then contact you with your results and next steps.

Video InterviewYour application for the Intensive Fast Track programme will include a video interview to understand your motivations for wanting to become a financial adviser. If you are looking for an introductions to a firm then the video will form part of your profile used to introduce you to firms within the network.

Our assessment centreProviding you successfully complete the online tests and video interview, we’ll invite you to spend half a day at our assessment centre.

At the assessment centre we’ll discuss expectations so you understand what is needed to make a successful career as a financial adviser. The session includes exercises to test your behavioural profile and cognitive learning ability. You will take part in a group fact find exercise, as well as having a face-to-face interview with one of our team.

After the session, we’ll complete a fullevaluation of how you performed on the dayand this will help us to decide whether to offeryou a place on our programme and whichadvice firm you might be a suitable match for ifyou are looking for a work placement.The assessment centres are held regionallydepending upon where the majority of studentsare based - they are typically held in London or Manchester.

Work placementsIf you don’t already work in a financial advice company, we can actively look to secure you a position (whether self-employed or salaried) within one of the 1,300+ advice firms within the Quilter Financial Planning network.
