How does your media product represent particular social groups? • The opening scene of our film is to showcase on of

the hilarious situations that can lead to the love of any two people

• We used basic stereotypes for out two characters so our audience can subliminally relate with our characters. Our main ideals that we wanted to input into our film was gender and class as we waned to further the stereotype about females being more in control of their surroundings than men and the stereotype about upper class being more sophisticated than physically and mentally than lower class.

RepresentationRepresentation of

Age• We portrayed age in a

very normal way although the main actress did seem to act more mature that would be seen normal for her age while the main actor was the opposite. Age was mostly connected to age and class as those were the main ideals we wanted to implement.

Representation of Gender

• Our representation of gender was very generalised and we really did our best to stereotype it. Females are believed to be more neat and take more care of their appearance and we really wanted to portray that in our film while adding the collective thought of the scruffiness of men. We really implemented those stereotypes as much as possible in our film.

We wanted to emulate his scruffy hair on me as we all agreed to not comb my hair and rough it up a bit as to add that lower class look.

We saw his top and we wanted to follow in his footsteps as it has the creased look again teaching us more stereotypes to copy when it was time to film.

We tried to emulate her pin point neatness as you can see in her attire showing the audience her richness in culture and class

We also wanted to use white as a bright colour as white or light plain colours has positive connation's of angelic traits and shows purity.

The way her hair is extremely designed and it shows that she perfected every detail of her face and tell the audience she really took her time and shows she really cares about her appearance something that is associated with the bourgeoisie
