My magazines social group is for both genders, but more of a push towards females because a lot of the information is ‘gossip’ information, the age is for people aged 16-25, who are interested in the current up to date music, possibly people in the charts that’s very R&B and pop.

The reason for the young age is because the people mentioned inside appeal to the younger generation, as the music is aimed at them.

New Affluent Workers: This class has

medium levels of economic capital and

higher levels of cultural and social capital.

They are a young and active group.

Emergent Service Workers: This new

class has low economic capital but has

high levels of 'emerging' cultural capital

and high social capital. This group are

young and often found in urban areas.

Feature article photographMy feature article photograph appeals to my social group

as it represents a young girl, posing right in the middle,

with it being black and white with the one red part of the

image, her lips. Which looks fun and more for the younger

generation.

Colour SchemeMy colour scheme is red black and white, this appeals to

my target audience because the red and white looks

bright and red is associated with a young person,

misterious. So therefore would appeal to younger people.

MastheadMy masthead is red and white which are young

rebellious colours that go well with a black and white

photograph. I have made the opacity higher so that it

stands out more as it is placed behind my photograph

HeadlineMy headline attracts my target audience because it is

quite big and bold and takes up most of the width the

top of the page. By it being a black box with red and

white writing inside it makes it stand out, and by this,

attracts my audience who would be attracted by bold

titles.

PhotographsMy photographs represent young people and are all

single person photographs, this appeals to my

demographic because if they see young people

represented in the magazine, then it would encourage

younger people to read it, rather than older. By all of

the photos being in colour and bright, it looks fun and

entertaining.

Layouti chose to do the page in two halfs so that I can get more information and photographs

on to the page, I done this because photos attract people more and look more fun. By

doing this I could vary my font and do two different types of information

Where page splits

Headlinemy headline consists of two different parts,

the ‘UK’ and ‘sell out tour’ this is effective

as it attract people to reading it as it looks

fun, it attracts my target audience as it

looks more for young people, as it doesn’t

look full on serious.

PhotographMy photo shows a young girl: that is

shown as young in the article, posing. This

article with the photograph would

attract mainly young women, as men

wouldn’t be to interested in a young girls

experience in the music career.

Backgroundthe background of my double page spread

is the english flag, I used this to cover

negative space. This could be interpreted

that my target audience is english people,

so could therefore encourage these people

to read it.

Drop capi used two drop caps, and used ‘ed

sheeran’ I one of them, as he appeals to

young girls, and both sex’s young adults

due to the songs he sings.
