1. By: Abby and Kendal 2. 65 million years ago a meteorite hit earth witch killed all the dinosaurs and made them extinct . They also died out along with more than 50% of other life forms on the planet. 3. Dinosaurs first appeared on earth about 225 million years ago. They grew and changed as our planet developed. About 65 million years ago the last of the dinosaurs died out. From creators all other animals develop from other animals. This process is called evolution , it takes a very long time. Scientists believe that dinosaurs evolved called the condonts. These animals lived before dinosaurs. 4. ULTRASAURUS is the largest dinosaur. Tyrannosaurus rex was the strongest dinosaur of all. Its name means king of the tyrant lizards. Many people think Ornithomimus was the fastest but no one really knows. 5. THERE ARE DIFFERENT THINGS DINOSAURS EAT. SOME DINOSAURS ARE CARNIVORS THEY EAT MEAT. OTHER DINOSAURS ARE HERBAVORS THEY EAT PLANTS. THE LAST DINOSAUR IS THE OMNIVORE IT EATS BOTH PLANTS AND MEAT. 6. How fast can a meteorite travel?25,000 to 160,000 mph per second. How many eggs can a dinosaur have? A Hadrosaurus laid up to 30 eggs and a Protocearatops laid up to 30 to 35 eggs. Those are just some examples of how many eggs. It all depends on which dinosaur your talking about. The meteorite hit earth in the water then the impact sets lots of dust and gas into the atmosphere.it puts a lid on the earth, and the plants gets extremely hot. The lid blocks sunlight too, so the climate later gets very cold. Dinosaurs needed warmth and were effected by the cold, witch also destroyed plants this left them without food. And then they all died except they mammals thats what we are now.
