Prayer Chain...

Administrative Volunteer Needed... We get a number of phone calls throughout the week from various people groups in the community. As there are only 18 office hours per week, we are not able to answer all of these phone calls, missing opportunities as a church to reach out to people in Surrey. Additionally, Emily will be shifting her focus on re-creating our church image. If you have a heart for administration and would be willing to serve the church by donating your time for four hours every Monday morning, please contact the office for further details. This is an excellent opportunity for someone trying to gain work experi-ence in administration or volunteer hours.

our BCCC Prayer Chain. The idea is simple: when there are prayer needs in the congregation, rather than wait until Sunday, get praying on them now by spreading the concerns by way of the telephone, or email. Please let Emily know if you would like to be added to our prayer chain.

The power of prayer is not the result of the person praying. Rather, the power resides in the God who is being prayed to. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us, "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him." No matter the person praying, the passion behind the prayer, or the purpose of the prayer - God answers prayers that are in agreement with His will. His an-swers are not always yes, but are always in our best interest. When our desires line up with His will, we will come to understand that in time. When we pray passionately and purposefully, according to God's will, God responds powerfully!

The Mexico Missions trip is coming up on March 18-28th and there is still a lot to be done! Please contact Ray King for information on how to help in this ministry.
