“JESUS IS THE REAL REASON FOR THE SEASON”For us as believers to understand the true reason for the season, we need to first understand God’s plan for mankind. Why do we exist? What is our purpose for being on the earth? How will God pull off His purpose through His plan?

Why did God create the world and mankind? This question in not new, David asked the same question many years ago. Psalm 8:4-6

A. WE’RE NOT CREATED OUT OF NEED OR SOME SORT OF NECESSITY 1. God did not need us. Acts 17:24-25

2. God was not lonely. Genesis 1:26

3. God was not insecure or have an ego problem with the need to be worshipped; God is God all by himself. Colossians 1:15-17

B. LOVE MOTIVATED GOD 1. Everlasting Love Jeremiah 31:3 2. God is love 1st John 4:8

C. GOD CREATED US TO FULFILL HIS ETERNAL PLAN 1. We are to love God Deuteronomy 6:52. Love our neighbor Matthew 22:393. Created to do good works Ephesians 2:104. Preparation for war Ephesians 6:10-185. Ministry of Reconciliation 2 Corinthians 5:18-19

D. WE HAVE A CHOICE1. To serve God or man Joshua 24:15
