Television and Computer Collection Book a kerbside collection of your unwanted televisions and computer related items which will be recycled.

Chipping and MulchingReuse your pruned branches as mulch. We will chip and bag them for you to use at your property.

Problem Waste Drop-Off StationsRecycle and safely dispose of your batteries, ink cartridges, mobile phones and light globes*. *Not accepted at the Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre.

Smith Family Clothing BinsDonate clothing items in good condition to help fund education programmes for disadvantaged Australian children.

Second Hand Garage SalesReduce your waste to landfill and organise a garage sale. Council can advertise it for you free of charge.

The Bower Collection ServiceBook a collection with The Bower, a not-for-profit environmental charity and cooperative or find a reuse organisation near you.

Council provides each property / unit complex with up to 5 free Pre-Booked Household CleanUp Collections per calendar year, for the disposal of unwanted bulky household items. Conditions and restrictions apply.

Please note: It is illegal to place items out on the kerbside without a booking - fines apply.

Council encourages all residents to avoid creating waste wherever possible.Try to minimise waste and increase recycling by rehousing, reusing, donating or selling items.

The Northern Sydney Community Recycling Centre8 Waltham Street, Artarmon Hours: Mon, Tue, Fri: 8.00am - 2.00pm; Sat, Sun: 8.00am - 4.00pmDrive through to drop off problem waste such as paint, gas bottles and car batteries.These items are not allowed in your kerbside bins or Pre-booked Household CleanUp Collections.
