Steps

1 Open Hotmail.com Homepage. Click on Sign in Tab, Hotmail has it’s another name Outlook.com, you can use it also for the same.

• You can recover inactive accounts for up to 365 days since the last time you logged in. You can recover it manually anytime.

2 Click the “Can’t access your account ?” link. This can be found below the Email

& Password fields.

3 Click on “I forgot my password” and go to “Next” and

Click on it.

4 Enter the Email address you need access to in “Microsoft Account” field. Fill

out the Captcha then go to “Next”.

5 Select a Verification process. You have to choose a Verification method in order to access your account again. Click on the Tab above to get a verification code and click on

“Next”.

6 Fill out the form(if Necessary). If you had chosen another Tab in previous

form, you have to fill it and this will send the verification code to your alternative email that you entered once while creating your account.

7 Get your Verification code via Email. If you have selected the Email for Verification

method, Get your verification code in your alternative email. Check your email Inbox/Junk.

8 Enter your Verification code received in your Alternative Email.

9 Recreate your Password. As of now you have your account access again, Reset your

new password at once.

10 Log into your Account Again. Now you have created your new password, So Log into your account. Access it. Congratulation!!
