The Conjuring

The trailer was very dull and dark, nothing was ever bright which instantly suggests it’s not a happy film.

Quite a lot of dialogue at the beginning, nearer the end dramatic noises are used to make the viewer jump.

Plot: unexplainable things happening in a house where a family live.

Characters: the trailer was based around a family being haunted.

Annabelle

Again the trailer is very dull with no bright colours.

Plot: like The Conjuring the trailer shows a family being haunted. This time they are being haunted by a china doll.

Characters: again the trailer was based around a family.

Insidious

The trailer has very dark lighting much like the other two trailers.

Plot: Again like the other two films, Insidious is based around a family being haunted by something, with lots of unexplainable things happening.
