    3. Turn off combine and remove key from ignition.

    4. Set combine parking brake.

    5. Disconnect all drive shafts from the header.

  • 2

    Installation

    Install Terrace Sensors (if equipped)

    1. Line up holes of sensor and mounting bracket with spring installed short leg up and long leg back in mounting bracket.

    2. Insert pin and secure with retaining ring.• Install clamp on adjusting bolt.• Adjust leveling bolt till sensor is level and lock jam

    nut.

    3. Tighten bolt holding clamp on side of sensor.

    4. Remove standard crop divider tip.

    5. Using provided hardware, bolt the large round bar bracket in place of the crop divider with the front end bent downward

  • 3

    Installation

    6. Bolt the terrace sensor/bracket assembly to the end of the rod.

    7. Install long poly wand with 1 inch flange bolts provided• Check that bolts ends do not extend through metal

    arm

    8. Repeat for other end of header

  • 4

    Installation

    Install Standard Sensors

    1. Determine sensor mounting location.

    2. Mount outer sensors first, mounting out as far as possible (if not equipped with terrace option).

    • Mount all inner sensors as evenly spaced as possible across the head

    • To avoid clearance issues you may need to pre-assemble sensor and mounting brackets

    3. Remove large cover from sensors, retain hardware and covers.

    4. Remove bolt holding wiring clamp inside sensor as marked.

    5. Mount sensors to existing header brackets with 5/16” hardware provided in back two holes.

    • Leave hardware loose for routing of wiring

    6. Reinstall wiring clamp and replace bolt inside sensor body in location marked.

  • 5

    Installation

    7. Mount left and right outer sensors/bracket assembly to skid plates as shown.

    • If you are using terrace mounts for the outer sensors skip to step 8

    • Make sure that draper belt will not hit the sensor bracket

    8. Mount inner sensor/bracket assemblies to brackets as shown.

    • Make sure the draper belt will not hit the sensor bracket

    • For headers 40 ft or wider it may be necessary to drill holes and mount the brackets directly to the skid plate behind the cutter bar to keep the sensors spaced evenly

  • 6

    Installation

Install Terrace Sensor Wiring (if equipped)

    1. Attach extension wire to terrace sensor.

    2. Zip tie the blue connector to the top of the square bracket.

    • Place the zip tie just behind the square bracket so it is protected from crop

    • The wire must remain above the metal rod so it is protected from crop

    3. Run the wire inside the crop divider to the back of the head.

    4. Continue to run along the back of the head to the Insight box.

    • Run along OEM harness or hydraulic lines• Secure with zip ties

  • 7

    Installation

    Install Standard Sensor Wiring

    1. Install protective conduit on wiring coming from sensor.

    2. To aid installing conduit on sensor wiring without damaging wire insulation, tape a wrench big enough to open conduit (wider then wiring harness).

    3. Insert box end of wrench into conduit using it as a guide to slide conduit over wiring. Remove wrench and repeat for all other standard mount sensors.

    • Outer sensor use 3 ft conduit• Inner sensor use 6 ft conduit

    4. Slide conduit all the way up to sensor and fasten with two clamps.

    • Clamp as shown where routing to a gusset on the right

    • Clamp as shown where routing to a gusset on the left

    5. Tighten all sensor mounting hardware and reinstall previously removed cover.

    • Be sure not to pinch wires when reinstalling cover

  • 8

    Installation

Install Sensor Wands and Tether Cables

    1. Use 5/16 x 1-1/4 flange bolts provided and fasten wand to sensor.

    • Install long wands on all terrace and outer sensors• Install short wands on all inner sensor

    2. Attach a tether cable to each wand.• Use a screwdriver to pry open the slit in the rear of

    the wand

Tether cables are not used on terrace sensors.

    3. Fasten the rear of the cable to a secure location on the header.

    • Make sure that the cable cannot catch on any moving or solid parts

    • Adjust the cable length so that it pulls the arm slightly (1/2”) back from its original position

    Install Insight Box

    1. Using supplied Hardware, attach Insight box to existing mounting bracket.
