  • about eventcityEventCity launched as the exhibition space in March 2011, and has since hosted numerous jaw dropping events and shows. It has over 28,000 sqm of space spread over 4 halls, 3000 FREE car parking spaces and a 60 bay coach park. At EventCity, we benefit from our TRAFFORDCITY location which is visited by over 40 million people every year, has 4 hotels on site and 6000 hotel rooms within a 5 mile radius. Surrounded by world-class retail, leisure, entertainment and commercial facilities, from skydiving to skiing, trampolining to treadmills, we are in the midst of a vibrant destination thats on the doorstep of Manchester City Centre and everything it has to offer. Just 20 minutes from Manchester International Airport, and with direct access to Manchesters motorway links and national rail network, this is a destination thats altogether different and just waiting to be discovered. EventCity is the ideal venue for any type of event - from a small social gathering to an exhibition for hundreds of thousands and everything in between.

  • about eventcityIt comprises 4 halls with a total of 28,000 sq.m of space and 3,000 total parking spaces. Hall 4 is our custom built, cutting edge conference and dining facility. It covers just under 6,000 sqm, which can be sub-divided into 3 sections (each being 2,000 sqm). Black star cloth is available in Hall 4, around the entire perimeter, which doubles up as black drape if needed. It is fitted with dark grey carpet tiles, environmental lighting (colour wash, pinspots, cable dimming system and rigging), a state of the art zoned sound system and trussing and rigging points.

    Flexible enough to hold a variety of events, Hall 4 can hold up to 5,000 theatre style, 2,000 cabaret style or can be reduced to hold a minimum of 400 cabaret/dining style. Banqueting furniture for up to 1,500 is also available. Were proud to have hosted major events such as The X Factors North West auditions, the Power Snooker Masters Trophy, the Ideal Home Show, and Winter Wonderland Manchester.     At 3,987 sq m hall 1 is our second smallest hall, perfect for local level and newly established events. Located just behind the main reception of EventCity it is ideally located for customer and vehicular access. Like all of our halls it has the latest in sound and lighting technology and when you hire one of our event spaces you get the added benefit of our expert on-site teams to ensure your event goes off without a hitch. Some of the amazing events that have been held in this hall include The Wedding Show, Robot Wars and World Snooker.

    Hall 2 is our smallest hall at 2,500 sq m. This hall has no external vehicular or customer access and can only be accessed through halls 1 or 3. It is the perfect hall if you are looking for a little bit of extra space when hiring halls 1 or 3. Hall 2 is fully accessible and has access to its own toilets. Some of the key events that have been held here are Kidz Up North and The Autism Show.

    With 16,000 sq m of space, hall 3 is the perfect venue for large scale events and when you know that the X Factor Auditions and Winter Wonderland have been held here, you know you are choosing the right venue. As the premier hall in EventCity, it comes equipped with fully controllable LED house lighting, multiple power supplies and three vehicle access points to ensure loading and handling runs as smoothly as possible. There is a separate entrance for visitors from the car park behind EventCity

    Hall 4 is the hall to dazzle your guests with. Stretched around the 310m perimeter is black star cloth that can be used in conjunction with the fully controllable house LED lights to create the perfect mood lighting for your event. With 5,850 sq m of space, there is plenty of room to ensure that you can fit all of your guests in so you can really roll out the red carpet. Event highlights for this hall include Footman James Classic Car Show, a variety of conference for national brands and BDO Darts.
