I have been asked to produce a multimedia presentation for the company Out and Up that encourages people to book an activity.

My presentation is suitable for purpose because it gives the information a customer would need, it also has contact details to allow them to book easily. My multimedia presentation promotes the company by having images of activities available ,this should encourage customers to book. I also promoted the company by including a logo on every page this reminds the viewer of the presentation of the company that owns ‘Out and Up’. My multimedia presentation informs the target audience of prices, opening times, etc. The video I have included should excite the customer, making them want to book an activity day. The presentation is informative and states everything a customer would need to know about ‘Out and Up’.

To meet the needs of the target audience (17-23 year olds) I have included 7 slides telling them everything they would need to know. In case they want to know anything else, I have included contact details. I have also included a feedback box for customers to fill in and leave any comments they have.

I have proof read my presentation many times to check for accuracy. I have also got a friend and my teacher to check over it and give me advice on how to improve. My multimedia presentation is consistent and has the same font on every page and has a logo on each slide in the same position.

I checked for problems in my presentation as I went along and corrected them. For example, one of the buttons on my navigation bars wasn’t working so I corrected this to ensure my presentation appeared professional. Once I had finished my presentation I checked for mistakes several times again.

I used a master slide for my background colour. Although I didn’t put a navigation bar on it so I could customize my slides. To improve my work next time I would link the text box and button together before creating a hyperlink as this would make the button work much better than it does now.
