The rain is coming while our team is finishing this issue.

Winter is turning to summer which is begin in March. The

month that Chiang Mai people have to face with smog

from forest burning. This situation will last until the raining

reason in March. The flowers begins to bloom. I really love

room. The huge dining table is set

in the center while the kitchen is on

the right. Blue Island kitchen and

decoration items from England is

eye-catching. Tiny bar is on the left.

There is fireplace and huge sofa to

sit back. Guest room is simply but

classic decorated. The second floor

locates 2 bedrooms and a living room.

Large bedroom decorated with the

proper number of furniture. Daugh-

ters bedroom is decorated with paper

butterfly on the wall. The living room

is an open space set in the middle of

the house with a plenty of books. The

house gives the real sense of England

though it is located in San Sai.

The salad menu is the mixing of veggies, chili and meat such

as fish, pork and beef which are mixed lettuce, mixed eggplant,

mixed meat. The salad menu in northern usually comes with

soup just like in the central of Thailand. However, the salad menu

in northern is usually cooked well such as spicy frog salad, spicy

chicken salad, dried beef salad. Meat is usually boiled and mixed

with Vietnamese coriander. Home Sukkapan Guide introduces

you to cook cockroach berry mixed with dried pork which is my

favorite dish when I was a kid. My mother would mix dried pork

with cockroach berry. The pork will be boiled and kept for 1 night.

Then, mix it with chili paste and spices. Serve well with crispy

skin pork and sticky rice.

Slice cockroach berry into pieces, leave it in

saline. Then, boil dried pork for 2 minutes

and cut into thin slices.

Mix the spices, garlic, chili paste, and galan-

gal, shallots and fish sauce together.

Mix them together and serve well.

Put the spices in the container followed by

cockroach berry,shallots,dried pork.Add msg

and salt for delicacy taste, followed by parsley

and Vietnamese coriander.

Anyway, Tom SomMackerel (Mackerelin tamarind soup) with rice is one of the healthy menu. Lets try and you will love it!

Pound pepper and coriander followed by shal-

Get the mackerel clean, then cut off the head

and take all the stuff off. Wash the mackerel

again and cut in stripes on its both side

Season with sugar, fish sauce, and tamarind

juice, followed by sliced ginger. Stir gently and

sprinkle with onions, sliced ginger as prefer

In order to cook one dish, the most important thing is

to have all good ingredients and then the good test will

come. Following by food decoration and to have it in a

good atmosphere then a perfect moment begins. Have

you ever thought about the house of the owner of Mix res-taurant, the famous restaurant in Chaingmai? Is a house

going to look as nice as a restaurant? Khun Narissorn

Somswasdi, the executive of Mix restaurant which have

many branches in Chiangmai has built his own house

in an estate housing area. It takes his 3 years to build a

house which has 800 square meters. Khun Narissorn told

us that it is more difficult to build a house than a restau-rant because it needs to pay attention in every single detail

started from design, sketch his own plan, and work on

interior design by his own. He decorates his house by his

collection especially with the paintings he collected where

he decorates them in every corner of the house. The house

is built in a modern style.

The first floor has a big living room, a kitchen

room which full kitchen equipments and a dining room. At

the balcony, there is a big blue sofa near by the barbecue

oven for party and this corner is perfect for receiving

guesses in winter season. Khun Narissorn uses the free

spaces such as the space under the stair to build the

storage drawer as well as wine chiller for party which he

organizes it often with his friends.

The second floor has 3 bedrooms. The owner of

this house pays a great attention to any single detail in

order to make it unique and different from other houses.

We can notice from the doorplate, outdoor garden as well

as the decoration inside the house. Now it makes sense

to me why the foods at Mix restaurant look so beautiful

and testy, the restaurant also looks nice, and the reason

is clear because the owner has a great test plus he is a

detailed person.

Summer season begins from March, then

its time for rainy season. April is the hottest

month. Sea is always an ideal destination

for summer. Seas in Thailand are beautiful, I

personally like Andaman where locates from

Chumphon to Satun. I planed my trip to Krabi

and end my trip at Phuket.

I left Chiang Mai at 6.30 a.m. by Air Asia flight. It took 2 hours to Krabi.

When arriving, I dropped off at Go Joi restaurant near the airport to

have Thai Vermicelli Curry which is a must try dish in Krabi. This menu

is usually eaten with vegatable, grilled chicken, steamed fish curry in

banana leaves and boiled egg. After that, I traveled around China town.

Then, I went to Nam Mao Bay Beach in order to go to Rai-Lay Bay. The

bay can be reached only by boat. Its landscape is limestone overlooking

to the sea. I stayed in the hotel until 4 in the evening. Then, I went to

take some photographs and had dinner. Cool breeze, spectacular view

plus superb seafood and beer really made perfect relaxation.

Sunset Cruises

I woke up around 7 a.m. and went to explore Railay beach. I walked to eastern

side where locates mangrove. Then, I walked to the western side, the beach

is clam in the morning and that's such a happy time. After that, I visited my

brother's place where he runs his mosaic material business. He has opened his

hotel named Avatar Hotel which will be opened on this April. There is a swimming

pool in the ground floor. In the afternoon, I bought Sunset Cruises program that

can travel around islands which are See Island, Kai Island, Poda Island. Food and

drinks are provided on cruise. It was such a wonder moment when the sun was

about to set in western while the moon was rising in eastern. When I reached

shore, I had delicious seafood and in fine weather.

Today I woke up late. After having breakfast, I headed to Phra Nang Cave in the west. Phra Nang Cave beach is more popular among tourists than Railay beach. The beach is spacial because there is the cliff. Then, I took a boat from Railay to Nam Mao Bay Beach for visiting Ao Nang where there were many hotels and tourists. After that I had a quick meal at Hat NoppharatThara

which is clean and surrounded by greenery flora and clear sand. Then, I paid a visit to Tapom-Klongsongnam where the water came from swamp forest before fallen to the beach. I could see many kinds of seafishwhich can live in both freshwater and saltwater because the water is so clear. In the evening, I went to meet my junior who runs his business in Krabi. We had dinner together at KohKlang

where is located 5 minutes from night market by boat. There is only 2-3 tables. I had Steamed Crab, Seaweed Salad, Turmeric Fried Snapper which wereso delicious. After that, we went to U Residence Hotel decorated in Chino style. My room is on the 3rd floor with a wonderful sea view. At 9 pm, we continued having dinner with scallopsand finished our dinner with roti in front of Vogue Shopping Center.

Pullman

Today I needed to get up early to go to Krabi Market, which is about 5 minutes walk from hotel. The thing that seemed strange to me was local vegetable which is different from northern such as Pakria, Djenkol bean fruit, etc. Anyway, I really love the fresh seafood. I just bought chicken, and grilled pork with sticky rice to eat at the hotel. It was the most delicious fried chicken I have ever tried because of the spices and it had no oil. At noon, we drove from Krabi to Phuket. We dropped by Bao Wee restaurant to have Satay Pork which was super delicious especially, its sauce. Then, we drove to the Pullman Hotel located on the hill with spectacular view. We had a good fun party at Lagoona Phuket.

I woke up a bit late for City Tour program visiting the old town of Phuket. The first place we visited was Wat Chalong. Then, we visited Cotto Studio Showroom in Phuket. It is close to the restaurant we would go for lunch, Raya Restaurant. The recommend menus here are Curry crab, the Piper sarmentosum, Hong pork, Phuket Fish Ball, Fried Grouper with Shrimp Paste Sauce. After that, we traveled around Phuket old town where there are many charming shops and restaurants. Last day, I had to go back to Chiang Mai. This trip gave me a real relaxation in Krabi. I will come back here again for sure.
