OBJECTIVES: - Your child will listen to the story ‘Mouse needs

a bath!’ and respond to the questions.

Lesson Development: 1) Introduce the author, illustrator, title and the cover page of the story book “Mouse needs a

bath!”2) Read the story to your child.3) Reread the story and at each juncture ask children the following questions.

Questions for Discussion: 1) Can you tell me what do you see in this book cover? What do you think the story is about?2) Why does the mouse need a bath?3) When was the last time mouse had a bath?4) Do you think the mouse is clean? OBJECTIVES: Your child will be able

- to verbalise the actions that he / she isdoing .

- to recite doa entering and leaving bathroom- name the bathing items.

Lesson Development: 1) Introduce your child the Doa entering bathroom / toilet. Explain why we should recite the doa.2) Place the tray of bathing items in front of your child.3) Encourage your child to name the items on the tray.4) Ask your child if he/she knows the use of each item.5) Demonstrate to your child the steps of taking a shower.

- Wet your body and head.- Wash hair with small amount of shampoo.- Rinse the shampoo out of your hair.- Wash your face.- Wash your body by applying body wash to your body sponge or your hand.- Start on your neck and shoulder and work your way down.- Wash under arms and back.- Wash private parts and bottom last.- Rinse off the soap.

6) Invite your child to dramatize teh act of showering.7) After the dramatization, inform your child that he / she need to recite Doa leaving the

bathroom before leaving the bathroom.8) Introduce your child the Doa leaving the bathroom.9) End the activity by singing and doing the actions ‘Bath Song’ with your child.

OBJECTIVES: - Children will use a variety of materials to

explore ideas and emotions.

Lesson Development:

1) Find a suitable place to do the messy art activity.2) Place the shower curtain on the floor.3) Provide paints in a plastic container, paintbrushes and sponge for your

child to work with.4) Invite your child to paint and design the shower curtain using the

paintbrush, sponge and loofa.5) Dry the shower curtain.6) Ask your child to talk about the artefact .7) End the activity by singing the ‘Bath song’ with your child.

1) Wow! How did you make this?2) Those lines are beautiful. Objektif: Di akhir aktiviti ini, anak anda akan:

- Mengenali tentang teks yang ada didalambuku dan cara pembacaan yang betuldaripada kiri ke kanan dan atas ke bawah.

- Memahami jalan cerita dalam buku.

Arahan: 1) Jadikan tabiat membaca ‘Doa sebelum Belajar’ (Annex A) bersama-sama, setiap kali anda

mulakan sesi aktiviti bersama anak anda.2) Mulakan aktiviti dengan mengajak anak anda menyanyi dan menari mengikut rentak lagu dalam

video ‘Mandi’ dari Didi and Friends : https://youtu.be/az1dQOPpQyE. Galakkan anak andamereka tariannya sendiri.

3) Tanyakan anak anda, “Kamu masih ingatkah doa masuk ke tandas? Kalau kamu ingin mandi,harus baca doa dulu, baru masuk ke tandas, bukan? Mari kita baca sama-sama. (Annex B)

4) Seterusnya, tunjukkan kulit buku dan tajuk cerita hari ni, ‘Tikus perlu mandi!’5) Luangkan masa untuk berbincang tentang gambar di kulit buku dan makna tajuk cerita.6) Bacakan buku cerita dengan terperinci dengan mengenalkan kepada anak anda tentang teks yang

ada di dalam buku.7) Anda akan dapat mengenalkan tentang cara pembacaan yang betul dengan menuding setiap

perkataan sambil membaca, daripada kiri ke kanan dan atas ke bawah.8) Ajak anak anda untuk melengkap ayat semasa anda bacakan ceritanya, seperti. “Terlalu

pa....nas”, lakukan aksi anda sedang kepanasan, anak anda akan senang meneka perkataannya. 9) Anda boleh menanyakan soalan-soalan mengikut setiap lembaran buku cerita.

Objektif: Anak anda akan berpeluang: - Melihat dan menunjuk gambar-gambar dalambuku dengan teliti.- Mengenali nama benda-benda yang terdapat didalam buku.

Arahan: 1) Mulakan aktiviti hari ini dengan membaca ‘Doa sebelum Belajar’ (Annex A) dan menunjuk buku

cerita “Tikus perlu Mandi!”. Ingatkan anak anda tentang Monyet yang selalu “Sama seperti Ayahnya!”kerana Monyet suka meniru gaya sihat Ayahnya.

6) Tunjuk gambar benda-benda di dalam buku cerita itu dan tanyakan padanya, misalnya, “Ini binatangapa?” Nyatakan nama binatang itu, “Tikus”

7) Ajak anak anda sebutkan nama benda itu, “Cuba kamu sebutkan.” “Tikus!”8) Ulangkan aktiviti ini dengan benda-benda yang lain seperti: telinga, kucing, reben, misai, lalat, tab

mandi, itik, kereta, bola, kapalterbang, dan lain-lain.Aktiviti lanjutan: 1) Ajak anak anda untuk mencari mainan di dalam rumah yang dia

boleh gunakan di bilik mandi semasa dia mandi nanti.2) Galakkan anak anda untuk berbual tentang apa yang dia lakukan

Objektif: Anak anda akan berpeluang: - Dapat menyertai kegiatan Bahasa Melayu secaraaktif dengan mengikuti aksi dalam sebuah lagu.- Lebih mengenali tentang pentingnya menjimat airdan cara-cara untuk menjimat air.

Arahan: 1) Mulakan aktiviti hari ini dengan membaca ‘Doa sebelum Belajar’ (Annex A).2) Ingatkan anak anda bahawa kita selalu harus menjaga kesihatan badan dan salah satu caranya

ialah dengan membersihkan diri. Kita harus mandi selepas kita membuat kegiatan aktif sepertibersenam dan bermain, apatah lagi jika kita beriadah sehingga berpeluh-peluh.

6) Cuba pula mengajak anak anda berbincang tentang kebiasaannya bermandi. Adakah dia sedarbahawa kita harus menjimat air?

7) Tunjukkan poster Jimat Air (Annex C) dan berbincang tentang gambar-gambar yang dapat dilihat.8) Perkembangkan soalan anda untuk mengfokuskan kepada isu menjimat air semasa mandi.

Soalan-soalan yang boleh diajukan: 1) Bagaimana caranya untuk menjimat air semasa mandi?2) Berapa lama harus kita mandi?3) Mestikah kita menutup pancuran air semasa kita menggunakan sabun badan dan syampu rambut? 4) Bagaimana pula jika kita menadah air di baldi untuk mandi, dan tidak menggunakan pancuran air?

sabun cecair mandian.2) 2 atau 3 pewarna makanan atau cat poster3) Seikat straw atau botol plastik.4) 2 atau 3 mangkuk atau bekas plastik.5) Kertas

Objektif: Anak anda akan berpeluang: - Berlatih menuang dan membancuh bahan-bahn.- Menguatkan otot-otot di bahagian mulut sambilmeniup buih-buih.- Bebas menghasilkan kerja kreatif dan meng

Arahan: 1) Mulakan aktiviti hari ini dengan membaca ‘Doa sebelum

Belajar’ (Annex A).2) Ingatkan anak anda tentang watak Tikus yang tidak mahu

mandi. Tetapi, apabila dia mandi, dia rasa seronok bermainbuih dan tidak mahu berhenti mandi.

3) Berbincang dengan anak anda. “Bagaimana boleh kitabuat buih-buih yang banyak?

CARA-CARA MEMBUAT LUKISAN BUIH: 1. Galakkan anak anda untuk menuang dan

mencampur bahan-bahan yang diperlukan.2. Tuangkan sedikit air ke dalam 2 atau 3 mangkuk.3. Campurkan dengan sabun dan sedikit pewarna.4. Ambil seikat straw atau botol plastik yang telah dipotong.5. Celupkan ke dalam campuran sabun dan pewarna dan tiupkan ke atas kertas.6. Ajarkan dan galakkan anak anda untuk meniup buih, dan bukan menghirup air sabun.7. Ulangkan dengan pewarna-pewarna yang lain dan penuhkan lembaran kertas.8. Biarkan lukisannya kering dan kemudian, anda boleh mengajak anda mengguntingnya untuk

membuat bentuk bunga atau kupu-kupu, atau untuk membalut hadiah dan buku dansebagainya.

Nota untuk Ibu bapa/ Waris: 1) Jangan lupa untuk menekankan proses kreativiti dan bukan hasil terakhir. Anda boleh lakukan ini

dengan menghargai dan menggalakkan usahanya sambil memberi kebebasan.

Objektif: Di akhir aktiviti ini, anak anda akan: - Dapat berlatih membaca doa sebelum belajar dansurah Al Ikhlas.- Menyedari tentang bulan Ramadhan dan amalanberpuasa.- Berlatih menghasilkan kraf tangan sendiri.

Arahan: 1) Mulakan aktiviti hari ini dengan membaca ‘Doa sebelum Belajar’ (Annex A ) dan surah Al Ikhlas

(Annex D)2) Berbincang dengan anak anda tentang bulan Ramadhan yang sedang kami lalui sekarang.3) Adakah anak anda sudah mula berlatih puasa? Kalau belum, tidak mengapa. Berbincang tentang

bagaimana ahli keluarga yang lain berpuasa dan menahan lapar dan dahaga.4) Jika anak anda sudah mula berpuasa, puji akan usahanya dan nyatakan bahawa Allah sayang

orang yang cuba berpuasa dan berjaya menahan diri dari makan dan minum.5) Ajak anak anda untuk menyanyikan lagu : ‘Seronoknya Puasa’ | Omar & Hana:

berbuka selepas azan Maghrib.7) Nyatakan bahawa kita harus berpuasa untuk sebulan.8) Ajak anak anda untuk menghias biliknya untuk meraikan

bulan Ramadhan.9) Anda boleh menggunakan pinggan kertas dan kertas

berwarna untuk membuat perhiasan seperti ini.10) Pasangkan tali dan gantungkan di tingkap atau tembok bilik

anak anda.11) Anda boleh juga mengajak anak anda membuat kalendar

‘countdown’ untuk bulan Ramadhan.12) Ajak anak anda mengambil penyepit baju (kayu atau plastik)

dan tuliskan nombor 1 – 30.13) Hiaskan dengan frasa ‘ Ramadhan Mubarak’ dan setiap hari, tanggalkan satu penyepit, hinggalah

ke akhir bulan Ramadhan. Pasti anak anda akan ghairah untuk menyambut EidulFitri nanti.

Aktiviti Lanjutan: 1) Kemudian, ajaklah anak anda untuk mengambil wudhuk dan melakukan solat jemaah bersama-

sama. Kemudian, berdoa bersama-sama selepas solat.

OBJECTIVES: Your child wil be able to identify the triangle shape.

Numeracy Concept: 1) Counting & Number Sense (Rational

Counting )2) Basic Shapes & simple Spatial

Concepts(Basic Shapes)3) Simple relationships & patterns (

Lesson Development: 1) Introduce the book “ Trinity the Triangle” to your child.2) Tell your child that “ The shape today is the triangle. A triangle has 3 straight lines and 3 sides”3) Read the story to your child.4) Model searching for the triangle shape on each page.5) You may read the book a second time to search for additional triangle shapes.

Questions for Discussion: 1) Can you tell me how many sides does a triangle have?2) Can you find the different triangles in this page?3) Shall we count how many triangles are there?4) Can you find the triangle shape around our house?5) Can you point to me a triangle shape in our house?

Note to Parents 1) At this age, your child learns best when concepts are taught to them when they being reinforced through

lessons that allow them to recollect what was being taught before. Though it may seem like you areteaching them a repeated lesson, your child is learning to master the concept taught through this method.

2) Be involved in your child’s reading by pointing to the words as you read out the story. This willallow your child to be exposed to text recognition even though your child may not be able toidentify or read out the words independently yet.

1) Tell your child that “ We are learning about the Letter Rr today2) Introduce the letter card Rr to your child.3) Point to the uppercase letter R and say “ This is uppercase R or Big Letter R”4) Point to the lowercase letter r and say “ This is the lowercase r or small letter r”5) Tell your child that Rr sounds like /r/. You can refer to this video on the pronouciation of the
