Saturday, 08 December 2018 Holy Day of Obligation

Parish Mass: Friday, 07 December 2018

7:00 pm The Immaculate Conception is the church’s celebration of our belief that from the moment of her conception, the Blessed Mother lived without sin. We celebrate it exactly nine months before our celebration of her birthday (September 8th).

We will celebrate this holy day of obligation with one Mass only: on Friday evening, December 7th at 7:00 pm. The weekend Mass schedule remains as usual.

Calling all Youth & Young Adults

The parish is calling all youth and young adults To join the

Praise Dancers practice on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm

752-2157. Or just show up on Thursday night.

The parish is also calling all Youth and Young Adults

To join the Youth and Young Adult Choir

rehearsals are every Thursday at 6:00 pm

Don’t be shy, step right up and lift your voices to sing blessed praises to our Heav-enly Father. Please contact Music Director, Mr. David Williams, or Mrs. Doris St. Clair after Mass.

Holy Spirit Holy Name Society Christmas Food Drive

Christmas is approaching soon, and our help is needed. The Holy Name Society of our parish is sponsoring a Christmas Food Drive. We are asked to please donate what we can to the food drive. Canned goods,

boxed items and other non-perishable items are needed. Empty boxes will be place at each of the church entrances where donations can be place before or after each Mass for the next two weeks. Let’s fill up these boxes to help those who have less than what we have.

You are truly appreciated for all of your constant help! May our dear Savior Jesus Christ continue to shine in your hearts.

Retirement Fund for Religious Second Collection Next Sunday

Please support the Retirement Fund for Religious. A donor writes, “Your flyer touched my heart — seeing the retired religious, such memories surfaced.” Do you remember the sisters, brothers, or religious order priests who made a posi-tive difference in your life?

Today many are elder and need assistance. Their religious communities struggle to meet retirement needs while contin-uing to serve the people of God. Please give to next week’s second collection.
