WHEN YOU hear the word Brighton what instantly springs to mind? The pier? The Pavilion? No! A bloody great party town, that’s what! And who else understands this notion more than GoGoGloGlo?

Providing a huge range of glow sticks, festival essentials, party packs and all that is rave-fabulous, GoGoGloGlo is a completely web-based venture that is dedicated to supplying the very best to make your party that little bit more special.

Beginning back in 2006, Hannah Moore and Kevin Smith launched this fantastic venture with their website going live last year. With plans to expand into other websites to target specific areas of partying

it would seem the calling for all that is Glo is most certainly there.

But what can you get from GoGoGloGlo I hear you ask? Not only can you brighten up any party with your very own GoGoGloGlo balloon brites but there are also glow stick party hats, tambourines, devil horns and my personal fa-vourite, the glowing mouth guard! Guaranteed to turn heads in any scenario, this mouth guard rests over the teeth and in a second, the mouth is dazzling with four brightly-coloured LED lights.

GoGoGloGlo also stocks one of the biggest and most exciting ranges of named brand party toys including Astrojax, Powerball and

Active People to name but a few. As well as this, GoGoGloGlo are committed to helping out charities and schools by sponsoring various events and recently joining forces with Oxfam, helping to spread fur-ther awareness on a series of gigs.

Festivals are perhaps GoGoGloG-lo’s finest clientele. After all who doesn’t want a light up multicoloured umbrella when you’re huddled in the rain, Strongbow in hand?

Sure to make you look like the coolest party planner ever GoGoGloGlo really do offer a fantas-tic range of party pieces; you would be silly to miss out! Interested? Well make sure you check out www.gogogloglo.com to find out more.

IF HAVING a smooth skinned boyfriend is top of your Christmas list, why not make him an appointment with Stuart Green, the Body Mechanic?

“Think of your hair as a lawn,” says Stu-art. “Shaving, like mowing, simply cuts the growth back and encourages the hair to grow back stronger. Sugaring re-moves the hair from the roots so any re-growth is finer and

easier to remove the nexttime round, and what makessugaring so fantastic as manyclients tell me, is that it is ac-

tually a less painfuloption than standardwaxing”.

Rates start from £30for back and shoul-ders and Stuart evencomes to your home,

bringing with him a treatmenttable, towels and aftercarecreams. The ideal gift for theoverly-hirsute!

ARCHIPELAGOS IS Bright-on’s kitsch and stylish an-swer to the traditional Greek restaurant. From twilight, though blue light, One is led into blue and white checked table cloths, chandeliers made of little boat steering wheels, candles, and a well-stocked bar gave the place

a vintage feeling that - with the addition of cushy leather chairs - makes Archipela-gos, not just a restaurant but an entire dining experience. Look out for: Archipelagos’ Tzatziki - rustically prepared and tasty as hell, it is truly one of the best things one could ever put in their mouth; the moussaka - vegetarian and meat options both - as comforting and melting as a tender kiss; and a beetroot dish that’s amazing. Sone of the most mouth-watering tapas in Brighton.

HOW MANY times have you got all fired up about things you want to change in the year ahead only for your life to pretty much slip back to where it was?It doesn’t

have to be like this. I will let you into a secret. YOU have the re-sources to create your own reality as you go along, regardless of where you have come from or what your educational background is - the problem is most people focus on the wrong things! If I said the difference in

terms of effort levels be-tween a good life and an extraordinary life is small in comparison to the effort required to maintain a good life would you believe me? This is where Life Coaching comes in: with a change of approach and a clear focus you can begin to make sig-nificant changes in your life, rapidly exceeding all your expectations. We all tell ourselves stories

as to why we can’t do things, based on repeated behav-iour that limits us. The key to unlocking your full potential is to identify any limiting be-

haviour, deal with your fears and cre-ate a positive outlook and persona. How would

you feel if this time next year you had not only set some goals for the New

Year and stuck to them but exceeded your expecta-tions and created opportu-nities not just for yourself but also those around you in a dramatic way?

By making subtle changes in your outlook and focus, significant changes in terms of financial security, rela-tionships, career, body and state of mind can be made. Wouldn’t it be amazing if your New Year’s resolutions were the smallest thing you achieved in the year because the project you engaged yourself in was so impor-tant to you that they seemed small in comparison?

BRIGHTON ROCKS, long one of the city’s favourite pubs, has new owners and the local lads behind the bar on Rock Place in Kemptown have transformed the venue into a warm, friendly pub with a pre-club feel at weekends.

“We wanted to create an atmosphere we would want to drink and relax in, with a decent mix of people.” says co-owner Oliver Mackmin.

The lighting is atmospheric in the evenings with candle-

light giving the bar a winter ‘Manhattan’ feel. A small but carefully researched wine list, great mixed drinks or cock-tails and friendly staff make Brighton Rocks the choice if you prefer smaller, more inti-mate venues. They are open til 2am at the weekends and attract a mixed crowd with their non obtrusive DJ sets, with live music planned for weeknights.

The Brighton Rocks boys are are also fast becoming known as having the best se-lection of fresh oven pies in town, so if you haven’t visited this much loved Kemptown establishment in a while, it’s time to pay a visit - Brighton Rocks is most certainly back.

Rocking BrightonPABLO’S, ONE of Bright-on’s favourite Italian res-taurants, is the perfect place to enjoy an intimate dinner or your office get-to-gether this Christmas!
