ANCIENT ROME

Social Classes

Well the social classes in Rome were the ‘Senatorial class’ which

was mostly about if you wanted to go into the political group, the

‘Equestrians class’ if you wanted to go into economics & for the

women some of them went to the social class. So as you can see

here it was mostly the men who done the work.

The roll of the men & women & children

The roll of the men are sometimes to fish in the sea, lake or ocean or where ever they can

get their hands on fish or to militia, the women had the roll to farm in the farming field or being

care givers & for the children well they done what ever they

wanted weird right.

Education

The education then is very very different to our education now

days. Because in those times the rich kids got tutored at home by a

private tutor, but for the poor school was based on fear. Some of

the kids got beaten up for the slightest offence, but if the kids kept doing the wrong thing and they feared the cane or getting

beaten, thy would have two slaves hold them down while they

got whipped by a leather whip.

Marriage

There was two types of marriages in the roman ages one was a

conventional marriage & one was the free marriage. The conventional

marriage was more ancient form than the free marriage , but the wife lost all

rights with her other family & went with her husbands family, but for the free marriage the wife was left as a

member in her family.

The clothing in the roman ages looked like this:

Work and Entertainment

For entertainment the roman went to the arena to see the gladiators fight against their

opponents or a very fierce lion or if unlucky there would be more

than one opponent for one person. As for the work the

romans they were carpenters, stone masons, metal workers, artists, plumbers, engineers, mathematicians, politicians, soldiers, doctors, farmers,

labourers, salesmen, shippers, sailors, and the list goes on.

Well did you know that Ancient Rome was very

interesting because if the guards made a person a slave

then that also means that they might be turned in to a slave, and did you know that

this gentleman in Rome who’s name was ‘Julius Caesar’ got

stabbed 1000 times only because he made himself the director, but why bother he

was already in the republic of Rome weird right but really

slack.
