Items to Discuss at this meeting • Hinckley Action group questionnaire – feedback from people who attend

the group/are new to the group

• Outline of Hinckley Action Group

• The group is chaired by Dawn who arranges booking the room, bringing the tea and biscuits, creating the agenda, inviting guest speakers, arranging events etc along with the support of Nixie. Dawn volunteers her time to the group.

• The group is run as a meeting, therefore the purpose is to discuss issues in the local area and to have a discussion and share ideas on what we would like to happen in the area.

Items to Discuss at this meeting • The group is run not only by Dawn, but by the people who attend. People

who attend are expected to contribute to the group in the following ways: - help with making drinks/washing up, clearing away tables at the end - give ideas about what they would like to happen at meetings, what they would like to be discussed, speakers they would like to attend.

- give ideas about trips/events they would like to attend, and support.

Dawn to get information on these and support to arrange the trips - make every effort to volunteer at events to promote the group.

- Make reasonable adjustments so they are able to volunteer (request

support from their carer, make a change to their usual routine for a one

off event)

• The group is run by the people who attend, FOR the people who attend, so contributing to the group, voicing your opinion and ideas will benefit YOU!
