Debbie Handley will be

taking pictures in the

foyer each Sunday morning for the next few

weeks before Sunday School and after morning

worship.

Our basketball camp will be June 26-June 30 in the Family Life Center. Kin-dergarten through second grade will have camp from

9:00-11:30 each morning, and third through sixth grade will have camp from 1:00-3:30 each afternoon. Cost is $50. Registration forms have been put in the children’s classrooms. You can get one from your child’s teacher or at the Welcome Center. Hosts are needed for our Sports Crusaders leaders, also. There will be four students. If you can house them for the week (from Sunday, June 25, to Friday, June 30), please let Pastor David know. We also will need to provide a noon meal. If you can help provide a meal for our col-lege sports camp leaders, there is a sign-up sheet in the Information Corner.

Taco Time June 4 following even-ing service we will have a fundraiser for the fos-ter kids of the Missouri Baptist Children’s

Home. Your donation will help send these kids to camp. Our youth will be preparing the meal and cleaning up, and will earn money through this project to help them attend camp as well. Come hungry and help kids get to camp.

Tonight

after the

evening service.

DAUGHTER OF THE KING TEA

of the King Tea party Saturday, June 3,

beginning at 9 am. This event is

designed for young girls, but open to

women of all ages! Little girls will have the opportunity to learn about their role of being a Daughter of our Heavenly King, have their nails painted, and sip tea along with more fun things just for them!

Feel free to have your little one dress up like a princess if you choose!

Please sign up in the Information Corner so we will know

how many to prepare for.

WANT TO BE A “HOME”

MISSIONARY?

Missouri Baptist Children’s Home has a few positions open. They are looking for: a full-time, live-in direct support staff to work a 7 days on/7 days off shift, a full-time Lead Youth Care Specialist to pro-vide spiritual leadership and program leadership for the youth care specialists in the TGH and Pregnancy Services pro-grams, and a part-time office manager for the Hutchens Campus in Mt. Vernon. If you are interested in any of these posi-tions, we have more information in the office or you can submit a resume to: [email protected].

There will be an Ordination

Council at First Baptist Church on

Sunday, May 21, from 4:30 to 5:30 pm in the

Church Choir Room. The Ministry Ordination Ser-

vice will be on Wednesday, May 24, at 6:30 pm in

the First Baptist Church Sanctuary.

Those being ordained are: Gene Collins, Steve

Mino and Jordan Rockstad.

We are in urgent need of van driv-ers and riders for Sunday mornings. Right now we have only two drivers.

Each driver also needs to have a rid-er with them. This is a rotation po-

sition where you drive or ride once a month. Driv-ers leave the church between 8:15-8:30 am to pick up passengers and take them back home after the morning services.

Please pray about these positions and let someone in the office or on the Nominating Team know if you will help.

MISSION KIDS

This summer Mission Kids will meet on Wednesdays from 6-7 pm beginning June 7 through July 26.

This is for kids age 5 years through 5th grade. Please fill out a form for your child(ren) and turn in to Ann Holley. Forms are in the foyer.
